Hello to all members of this community and fashion lovers! The moment has finally arrived to show you the wonderful photos I took while attending the Battle of Outfits in Venezuela, an event where fashionistas gather to show off their best outfits. It was held at the National Art Gallery in Caracas, with free admission for attendees and a small fee for those who wanted to participate in the battle.

I found out about the previous battle thanks to their Instagram account, although unfortunately, it was after it had already happened. So, when they announced the next one, I was already mentally prepared to go... however, I hadn't counted on my mood not being the best. I confess, I didn't even want to leave the house, but my friend @kimi-gon, who is a fashion lover and lives in another city, was so excited that I went basically so I could tell her how it went.

So, the day before, I was trying to decide what to wear. I wasn't entirely sure, since my favorite style is lolita decora, but I wasn't in the mood for such a colorful outfit, so I opted for a simpler one inspired by the anime "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" (I'll show you a photoshoot of it later).

When I arrived at the gallery, I was amazed. I'd always heard that in the capital, people had much more freedom or felt more comfortable wearing their outfits... but since I moved here, I hadn't seen outfits with so much style (I guess it's because of the places I usually go, haha), so it was fantastic to see so many people gathered with such great styles, wearing their outfits with pride.

I got excited when I started photographing the attendees, because I loved how happy they looked posing and receiving compliments on their looks. Of course, there were several outfits I loved, but if I had to choose my favorite, it would be the one worn by the girl in a clowncore style. In fact, when I asked her, she was thrilled to confirm it, because she recognized the aesthetic. I'm not very knowledgeable about fashion and styles, but at least I recognize the ones I like, and clowncore is one of my favorites, so it was great to find someone else who liked it (at some point, I hope to put together a clowncore outfit in my own style).

I didn't stick around for the battle. From what I heard, there were over 50 contestants who would step into a boxing ring in the space to show off and defend their outfits. But after a while, I felt suffocated by the crowd, so I had to leave, haha. Even so, I'm glad I went and got the great photos I'm sharing with you today. For the next edition, I hope to dare to wear a more elaborate outfit from my favorite aesthetic. For now, I'll continue wearing my usual outfits ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la moda! Por fin ha llegado el momento de mostrarles las maravillosa fotografías que obtuve durante mi asistencia a la Batalla de Outfits en Venezuela, el cual, es un evento en donde se reúnen los fashionistas para mostrar sus mejores outfits. El mismo, se realizó en la Galería de Arte Nacional de Caracas, con entrada gratuita para los asistentes y con un costo módico para aquellos que deseaban participar en la batalla.

Me enteré de la edición anterior de la batalla gracias a su cuenta en Instagram, aunque lamentablemente, fue cuando ya la habían realizado. Así que, cuando anunciaron que harían la siguiente, ya me había mentalizado acercarme... sin embargo, no contaba con que mis ánimos no fuesen los mejores. Lo confieso, no quería ni salir de casa, pero mi amiga @kimi-gon, quien es amante de la moda y se encuentra en otra ciudad, estaba tan emocionada, que fui básicamente para poder comentarle qué tal había sido.

De ese modo, un día antes estuve decidiéndome qué llevar. No estaba del todo segura, ya que mi estilo favorita es el lolita decora, pero mis ánimos no eran los mejores para llevar un outfit tan colorido, así que opté por llevar uno más sencillo e inspirado en el anime "Jojo's Bizarre adventures" (luego les muestro una sesión de fotografías del mismo).

Cuando llegué a la galería, quedé maravillada. Siempre me habían comentado que en la capital, las personas tenían mucha más libertad o se sentían más cómodas llevando sus outfits... pero desde que me mudé, no había logrado ver outfits con tanto estilo (supongo que es por los sitios a los que suelo ir jaja), así que fue fantástico ver tantas personas reunidas con estilos tan geniales, llevando sus outfits con orgullo.

Me animé cuando empecé a fotografiar a los asistentes, pues adoraba lo felices que se veían al posar y recibir halagos sobre sus looks. Por supuesto, hubieron varios outfits que me encantaron, pero si tuviera que escoger mi favorito, sería el de la chica que usó un estilo clowncore; inclusive, cuando le pregunté, la chica se emocionó al confirmarme, pues había reconocido la estética. No soy muy conocedora de moda y estilos, pero por lo menos, reconozco los que me gustan y el clowncore es de mis favoritos, así que fue genial hallar a alguien más que le gustase (en algún momento, espero poder armar un outfit clowncore a mi estilo).

No me quedé para la batalla. Según escuché, habían más de 50 concursantes, los cuales, se subirían a un ring de boxeo que había en el espacio, para lucir y defender sus outfits. Pero, al poco tiempo, me sentí asfixiada de tanta gente, así que tuve que irme jaja aún así, me alegro de haberme acercado y obtener las fotografías geniales que les muestro el día de hoy. Para la siguiente edición, espero atreverme a llevar un outfit más elaborado de mi estética favorita. Hasta los momentos, continuaré usando mis outfits ✨
