Hello to all members of this community and fashion lovers! As I mentioned in previous posts, I'm taking a few days off at my boyfriend's house, which is in a rural area with a pretty warm climate. In fact, one of the things I plan for when traveling is to pack comfortable and cool clothes, since it's guaranteed to be hot, haha. That's why I've opted to wear mostly tank tops and t-shirts, and I prefer sheer fabrics like chiffon.
During my previous trip, I bought some pieces of sheer fabric because I liked the prints, and after thinking about the "heat factor" in the area, as well as my lack of outfit options, I decided to make something simple with them. The first thing I made was a robe-style dress, inspired by the Cottagecore style, which was perfect for where I was going to wear it.
The intense heat yesterday encouraged me to wear it, and I must confess it was a complete success. Not only did I feel cool and cute, but everywhere we went, I was the center of attention (those few seconds of first impressions, haha). I had to ignore the fact that I knew people were looking at me, haha. But the other great thing is that the dress didn't bother me at all, nor did it fall apart on the way out, which proves it was well-made (I don't know why I doubt my sewing at this point in my life 😆).
For anyone interested, I'll be posting the process for this dress on my blog. It's super easy and might give you some ideas if you want to make something cute with just a few materials and basic sewing skills 😌🧵✂️

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la moda! Como mencioné en post pasados, me encuentro tomándome unos días libres en la casa de mi novio y donde él vive es una zona rural, bastante cálida. De hecho, una de las cosas que preveo a la hora de viajar, es llevarme ropa que sea cómoda y fresca, pues es fijo que hará calor jaja Por eso, he optado por utilizar más que nada franelillas y camisetas, así como preferir las telas transparentes, como lo es el chiffon.
Durante mi viaje anterior había comprado unos pedacitos de tela con transparencia porque me gustaron los estampados y tras pensar en el "factor calor" de la zona, así como mi falta de variedad a la hora de usar mis outfits, pensé en hacerme algo sencillo con las mismas. La primera que hice, fue un vestido tipo bata, ambientado en el estilo Cottagecore, lo cual, era perfecto para dónde lo iba a usar.
El calor intenso que hizo ayer, me animó a ponérmelo y debo confesar qur fue todo un éxito. No sólo me sentí fresca y coqueta, sino que a dónde llegábamos, siempre era el foco de atención (los segundos que genera las primeras impresiones jaja), tuve que ignorar que sabía que me miraban jaja pero lo otro genial, es que el vestido no me incomodó para nada ni se destruyó en la salida, lo cual demuestra que quedó bien cosido (No sé porqué desconfío de mis costuras a estas alturas de la vida 😆).
Para quién esté interesado, subiré el proceso de éste vestido en mi blog. Es súper fácil y podría darles una idea por si desean hacerse algo lindo, teniendo pocos materiales y conocimiento de costura básico 😌🧵✂️
