Photofeed. Wildlife - swans.
Good day, dear friends.
Sometimes, to see real wonders of wild nature, you don't need to go to the ends of the earth. It's enough to ride a minibus and see this spectacle. A river that flows near our city. The crossing was recently renovated.
I came to the shore on the weekend and, as always, froze in admiration. Swans glided gracefully in the clear water, reflecting the cloudless sky. Their snow-white feathers sparkled in the sun, and their long, graceful necks curved with such dignity that every gesture was part of an ancient dance. It's incredible, but our river is their home, and they feel completely safe here.
They swim away when you come closer. They can swim very close to the shore, looking for something edible or simply demonstrating their grandeur. I did not come closer. I was afraid to scare them. The only thing that can scare them is loud sounds. The sound of a tractor engine then, and they swam away from the shore. And now, as if on command, they synchronously swim to the middle of the river, demonstrating their caution.
And it is not only swans that make our river special. The nature around also amazes with its beauty. In the thickets of reeds, you can hear the voices of other birds - ducks, warblers, and sometimes a bright flash of a kingfisher. The air here is filled with the aroma of field daisies, and in the mornings, when the sun is just beginning to rise, a light fog spreads over the water, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
