Photofeed Macro Photography Contest. Wildflower.

This year, a huge number of cornflowers were planted at my dacha.

They grew on their own and even spread to other dachas. I can imagine what will happen in a couple of years. All the dachas will be covered with unusual blue cornflowers. How beautiful. There are other colors among them, for example, purple or pink, but the main color is blue.

Of course, I couldn’t resist. I always cut a bouquet of cornflowers and bring them home. I always have flowers on the dining table.

In the morning, I woke up and wanted to take a photo. I looked at the cornflowers closely. I started taking.

When I took the photo, the flower amazed me! It turned out that this modest wildflower is far more complex and beautiful than it initially appears. When I enlarged it, I was especially surprised by its stamens. This is something incredible!

Nature is beautiful in itself; we just don’t notice it.
