Eid al-Fitr holiday to Pidie Jaya city park with friends || enjoying the view in the afternoon, the beauty is extraordinary.
Good evening friends who always share your journeys here.

Hi friends, how are you tonight? I hope you're all well. Okay, friends, wherever you are, in this post, I want to show you my journey in 2026 during Eid al-Fitr.
Yesterday, I went with a female friend, who invited me to enjoy the night view at a park in Kota Merdu, Pidie Jaya.
I left my hometown at 3:00 PM and arrived there at 5:00 PM. Upon arriving in Kota Merdu, I came across an intersection with a red light. As usual, to continue my journey to the city park, I had to turn left and cross the twin bridges, which were truly beautiful.
I always share my routes to tourist attractions so you can see them in full.
this is the route to the twin bridges park that I passed.

At the twin bridges, I stopped for a moment to take a photo with my friend. After that, I immediately continued my journey to the city park. We soon arrived in front of the park. I also took some photos of the brochure for Pidie Jaya City Park, which has a very neat and beautiful design.
This is what the Pidie Jaya City Park complex looked like.

Because I saw that the entrance via the left road was closed, I had to take the right road. When I arrived, I saw several people taking pictures with their partners. However, I noticed that the park's once-beautiful seating area was gone. Perhaps because Aceh was hit by floods last month, and perhaps this area was also affected, there were no longer any vendors in this city park.
This is what it looked like when I arrived at the park via the right road.

Honestly, I felt a little disappointed. I wanted to sit and relax with my friend and enjoy the afternoon atmosphere with the beautiful sunset in this park, but what could I do since the area was no longer available due to the flooding. We enjoyed the view from the right side and walked towards the traditional Acehnese house in this park; this is a very magnificent museum in the city of Pidie Jaya.
This is what the traditional house I captured yesterday looked like.

After enjoying the park to my heart's content and it was getting dark, I headed straight to the once-busy seating area, now filled with tents. I watched the sunlight glisten on the tents and the water in the park pool. The view was so breathtaking that I was captivated and took some photos to show you all tonight. And here's the difference between the condition of this park yesterday in 2025, and now, as I'll show you all tonight, the condition of Pidie Jaya city park after last month's flood disaster is truly dire.

Since it was getting dark, I didn't linger in the park and immediately decided to go home. Even if we sat there, there wouldn't be anyone selling anything, and we quickly found a place to sit until Maghrib prayers were over.
So, friends, that concludes my trip with my friend yesterday. While I can't summarize it as completely as last month, I did manage to take some very detailed photos.
Well, friends, that's my story for tonight. I hope you enjoy the photos I've shown above.
All the photos I show here were taken with my camera....
