The Floating Island Lake ( Parashar Lake )
Hello Welcome to another Blog of mine. As i always try to give you something to admire and enjoy. One of the best thing is that i always get to share my experience with you beautiful people. Thank you for coming here and giving your precious time for my work.

As this time as i went on the trip to a place where we went to see a beautiful phenomenon of the nature that we have heard alot about.
The Floating Island of Parashar Lake.
This beautiful lake is known for its floating island. As people form all over the country come here to see this beautiful lake. The island is not big but big enough to be seen from around the lake premises and also from the hill top. The Lake's perimeter is around 300mtrs. And is amazing to see how nature can actually suprise you with these beautiful miracles of her.
The beautiful temple along the lake is build by a king called Ban Sen in the 13-14th Century. In here rishi is present in the form of stone (pindi).
To reach the lake you have to reach kullu where you can come by Air to Bhuntar Airport or by bus to Kullu Bus Stand you can take flight or Bus from Delhi or Chandigarh. After reaching Kullu you can take a taxi to reach the place as the distance is about 66kms around 2 and half hour drive. The lake is beautiful and view of the temple and the lake is so beautiful.
The beautiful lake has surroundings of beautiful meadows all along the road towards the top. As it sits high up in the hills of District Mandi in the State of Himachal Pradesh. The beautiful lake has great religious sentiments in locals. As the deity Rishi Prasher is related to this place.
The lake is one of the best places to visit in any season as evry season gives you something different to admire. As nature shows her beautiful colours Every season.
This is one of my favourite journeys to this well known place. As it is one of the famous lakes due to the phenomenon of Floating Island in india. As this lake is visited by many people form different States as well as from different countries.
