Ultra macro spring flowers

Good morning ,
It's time to show some ultra-macro shots of some spring flowers.

For those that have no clue normally macro is 1:1
ultra macro is all about magnification through the lens not by software.

Wonderful, where did you take these? in the garden or backyard...

Fantastic shots Mick. Lens magnification seems far superior to software magnification.

it takes some practice to get used to the lens and it's limitations it demands more light then a normal macro lens
but after a lot of trial and error i'm starting to get there :)

Awesome macro shots. I'm always envious of photographers for having a macro lens. XD

I tried to use my 50mm lens to do macro photography but I am not satisfied. I actually need a real macro lens.

50mm and some extention tubes could work to get you closer to the subject depending on camera system you use.

Oh, I have no idea about extension tubes. Let me search about it. I am using a NIkon D5100, not a full-frame camera.
