Summer Sunday morning walk in Bloeidaal .
Good Morning , wel actually it's afternoon already when I'm typing this , I started this morning with bringing the wife to work , and on my way back i stopped on the side of the road 07:00 AM on a Sunday morning hardly anyone alive , so i parked the car got my camera and snapped this foggy shot .
Camera used : Sony A7IV
Lens used : Sony 24-105 F4 G OSS , 16mm extension tube , and the LAOWA 15mm F4.5 Macro 1:2
All images this morning are straight out of camera so they might be a little big .
1 )
Then i rememberd my daughter mentioning this area called "Bloeidaal"
https://www.utrechtslandschap.nl/routes/wandelroute/het-beekdal
Sorry website is in Dutch but it will give you an idea of the area .
So this morning i decided to go for the "het Beekdal route " of 2.5 km .
it's never just a walk with me i always get distracted of things i want to capture .
So 2.5 hours later i got home with +/- 375 pictures , i won't post all of them today 😂 and that is without making a timelapse, although i did find some nice spots for that .
So here is my contribution today for #BeautifulSunday started by @ace108 and for #SublimeSunday started by @c0ff33a in the new community #summervibes by @mipiano .
2 ) arriving at the car park you can find it here on google maps : https://maps.app.goo.gl/q34ee62R41W5UJvo7
3 ) The bennifit of getting here early there is always a spot for your car to park.
4 ) The old farm house across the parking still looked a sleep .
5 ) And so I moved in to the Bloeidaal and i was glad i brought my waterproof shoes with me . This simple bridge over a ditch filled with water promised almost a wet adventure.
6 ) Still not much to see besides reed and woodland , but i can hear the water on my left in the woodlands , and plenty of little birds in the reed but very hard to spot.
7 ) Another bridge over a ditch and somthings moves in the water whil i cross it , probably a frog couldn't find it unfortunitly .
8 ) And when i looked back the way i came the sun was shining in my face , for a moment i thought it would be a sunny Sunday summer walk after all .
9 ) And whil i had hoped to find some Macro material here , so far nothing to find of that kind , hardly any insects at all . But then ...
An Argiope bruennichi / Wasp spider in a web caught my atention, this is a female since the males are way smaller "The adult males average a length of approximately 4.5 mm while the adult females reach a body length of 14 - 20 mm" (source wikipedia )
10 ) And when i looked arround they where all over the place , not a spot for people with Arachnaphobia , but i don't mind these creatures. This one was even coverd in dewdrops , or still soaking wet from last nights rain .
11 ) and then i spotted this one where i was able to take a picture from the other side without disturbing the web .
12 ) Then as i moved on i spotted these red berries , and the sun was starting to hide behind the clouds again .
13 ) and a little further there was this tree filled with red berries , differend tree Crataegus / hawthorn or mayflower
14 ) A flowering red clover also coverd in dew drops
15 ) like i said at the beginning of the post i was glad i brought my waterproof shoes with me .
16 ) plenty of reed cigars grwoing here on the water front
17 ) and a dandelion still flowering , also the sun starting to hide again .
18 ) Then i spotted this tree , with little fruits that look like plums , never seen these before , they were only 1 - 2cm big .
19 ) taken form a bridge i had to cross , you can see the water a bit .
20 ) these probably don't need an explanation , we all know blackberries i guess . And they seem to grow very well in this moisterd area .
21 ) and another tree with those small plums , these seem to have ripen better with more sun ,
22 ) The clouds are changing .. and not for the better ..
time to get back to the car
23 ) almost there ....
24 ) time for me to pick up the wife again from work
Enjoy your Sunday i hope you liked my morning walk .

Absolutely splendid! That 7 AM mist wraps the valley in visual poetry—a damp secret only a calm Sunday can offer. Then Bloeidaal unleashed its magic, every macro shot with the Laowa captures summer’s tiny soul, dew like diamonds on spiderwebs, leaves breathing texture, and that golden light dancing on the stream. But those new details! The hawthorn laden with scarlet berries—a burst of color in the haze—and the blooming red clover, its velvety petals crowned with perfect droplets, are botanical gems your eye framed. The Sony A7IV weaves serene landscapes with vibrant miniatures… Beautiful sunday turned art, from misty vastness to the miracle in a clover. Summer immortalized! 📸✨🌿💧
I just love to take the people on tour , to show them my experience of that day in a photographic way as if they were there. Thank you for you kind words, much appreciated.
We also got some grey clouds today and rain, but the sun is out again haha. I think those are indeed a type of some smaller plums, maybe a wild type.
i looked it up i think it's the Prunus spinosa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prunus_spinosa
I absolutely love your photo stories – they're amazing. I was captivated by the beautiful shot of the mist-covered field and the delicate photo of the spiderweb with its incredible little architect. As always, I'm enchanted by your unique perspective on the world around you.
Thank you for your kinds words , much appreciated .
Nothing like starting a day like this, with those views, those magnificent details, and the subtlety with which you captured them!
Thank you for sharing them with us!
Happy Sunday evening!
Thank you , it is indeed a great way to start the day spent some hours in nature .
Hi @stresskiller, I enjoyed this walk through a summer so different from Madrid and surrounded by nature. I also really enjoyed the photos of the spiders.

it was a good walk indeed +/- 2.5 km and 2.5 hours in time slow walker if you want to take pictures
I would have picked those blackberries! Glad you took waterproof shoes, I imagine that being like a bog in the winter.
we will find out this winter how bad it is , i'm sure the view will be a lot different without all the leaves on the trees .
yeah wonder if as many spiders
Beautiful photos! Those early morning photos, with slight mist, the sun going through the trees in the forest... Precious...

You're welcome. There were times I wanted to buy a camera and every time that thought came, I ended up changing my phone.
I've been using camera's for + 50 years can't really get used to taking pictures with a mobile phone .
Although the in phone cameras are getting better they still mis the real optics from a decent lens.
Yes, it's the fact that phone keeps getting better that discourage me from making the investment although I brought myself a DJI OSMO Pocket 3 and that's more for video than photos.
