Out for a walk again

avatar
(Edited)

It's already 5 weeks since my surgery and the recovery goes well so far .

Today i went for a walk again after bringing the wife to work , there was a lot of wind but also sunshine at least when i started .

I decided to go back to a place that i visited before and see if there would be any mushrooms already.

I also knew that if my health wasn't good enough it would be easy to get back to the car again and drive home.

Today i will be taking pictures with the Sony A7IV and my Laowa FF 15mm F4.5 Macro 1:2 and the Godox V1s flash unit , because sometimes you just need a little extra light.

1 ) Didn't expect the fireman to be here, looks like they are in the sportspark and not fighting any fires in the nature reserv so it's safe to continue.

2 ) yes the same area where i created multiple timelapse videos before, but not today .

3 ) Today i'm planning to walk a route that has been closed to the public until August 15 .

4 ) rose hip with a small spider web

5 )some people make jam from them , or lemonade .

6 ) a lovely sunny sky today

7 )still no threats in sky for rain .

8 )Jacobaea vulgaris

9 ) the weather still looks great so i keep moving away from the car

10 ) red clover flower all alone

11 ) Finally arrived at the area that was closed off until August 15 , earlier this year i spotted a deer and couldn't get any closer because of restrictions. And now they mowed the field to ground level , if there is still a deer it is probably hiding in the tree line .

12 ) But what is that bright red on a flower ?

13 )it's a Six-spot burnet / Zygaena filipendulae , always nice to see something new

14 )and you can see it's tongue going into the flower to get the nectar.

15 )clouds are getting bigger ... hope it stays dry until i reach the car again ...

that is it for today all images are created by me @stresskiller and all rights reserved !!

To be Continued ......

getting on ground level still is tricky , with macro shots , but normal shots seem to be going fine so far .

I just read your August 10 blog....Wow you were lucky. That may sound strange, that you were lucky to have acute appendicitis, but you caught it and you treated it successfully.

My husband underwent a complex surgery on his leg, May 28. So when I read about your recovery, I feel for you. You are doing so very well! Congratulations.

By the way, the photos are amazing!

Thank you. He's coming along, but he's a bit older than you are so it will take time.

Glad to see you up and about again Mick. That sun halo picture is a sign that it it will rain, and incomplete, it means that it will only be light rain in a day or two. At least that is how it works over here. Some nice shots in this post.
