April Fools challenge 2026 | Day 8 A visit at the hospital
Today we went to the hospital again , for a check on recovery progress on my wifes cataract surgery last Februari .
1 ) We parked next to an Ambulance in the parking garage
2 ) So many cars parked here , we had to pay +/-118 hive ( 6 Euro ) for the time we parked here, the garage has 4 lanes like thise and 3 floors imagine the income from that on a daily base.
3 )A nice blue sky , to nice to be sitting in a hospital , but what needs to be done , needs to be done .
4 )They have a service with small electric cars to drive you to the hospital if needed.

6 ) One of the small electric cars being recharged .
7 ) Walking towards the hospital there is this glass fence , the glued stickers on them so that birds will see it's glass , and don't headbang against the glass mid flight.
8 ) On the inside of the hospital you need to be carefull to exclude people from the photos, but this is one of the hallways looking upwards to the roof.
9 )At the reception they had this staue of a person , probably a doctor or professor.
10 ) The coffee machine uses paper cups with the txt "use me at least 3 times , safe the environment " So...
the first time was for coffee ,
2nd time was for this photo and the 3rd time was for filling the waste bin .
Mission accomplished 😎
11 ) On to the secondstop in the hospital for an eye scan , it was still very quiet here so i was able to take a photo, while the wife got her eye scan.
12 )We see these more often everywhere , so that if someone has a heart attack people with the proper knowledge and skills can safe someones life .
13 ) And at the final stop in the hospital , waiting for the Doctor to see us and discuss the results of the tests .
Once we where back home we decided to enjoy the spring sun on the balcony.
I saw all kinds of insects so i went back inside to grab the camera with Macro lens and flash light. And as usual is the case once you get back outside with the camera .... most insects are gone except for the aphids , they always stay arround.
M1 ) In my small flowering anemone they are hiding in the flower it self
M2 )Just sitting in plain sight on the petals.
M3 ) On the mint plant they are a bit harder to spot but there are plenty of them.
M4 )And on the Fritillaria meleagris / snakeheads flower one aphid was giving birth .
M5 )It's almost out ....
M6 ) And there it is more food for the lady bugs .
Lady bugs love to eat the aphids. But where are the lady bugs when you need them ...
