Amsterdam canal wedding trip

Today i will post the last bit of my Amsterdam wedding tour on the canals, in black and white .

For privacy reasons i will not post photos of the people on the party .

But i do have some photos of the surroundings .

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge

1 ) Historic Draw Bridge over the Nieuwe Herengracht at the Amstel Canal.

2 ) The Schreierstoren in Amsterdam is a historical icon that offers a unique experience in the heart of the city. Located on the edge of Amsterdam's famous canals, this medieval tower takes you back to old Amsterdam. Once built as a defense structure in the 15th century, the Schreierstoren has seen many stories and adventures over the years, and you can sense that atmosphere immediately upon entering.

4 ) A sloop with tourists enjoying the Amsterdam canls in this lovely summer weather.

5 ) People waiting on a floating tera for their boat to arrive .

6 ) This is how alcohol works , after the first glass you can still see everything very clear , after the second glass things get less in focus , well you can guess the rest :)

9 ) There are so many old houses still here that survived the WWII

13 ) Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam hotel on the Herengracht

and finally 3 black and white photos with RED as a splash color .

14 ) I know this is a black and white photography community ,and i remember asking the admins in the past if color splash was alowed , back then then it was allowed as long as it wasn't all in splash so today i post just 3 photos that i thought would look better with a bit of red , instead of completly b/w . Let me know what you think in the comments.
