I have had an aquarium all my life. When I was little, my parents kept fish. Then my father developed an allergy to the food we fed the fish, and the aquarium had to be cleaned and the fish given away. So some time passed and I again decided to start a fish. I bought all the means for keeping fish in an aquarium. It included a filter, a heater, and a lamp, and you also had to buy algae and stones.

I collected all this and launched my pretty fish. At first, they were golden gourami. They look so good. We constantly admired them.

Gourami does not need special care. They should be fed like regular aquarium fish. Live food can be given.

My father caught moths in the river in the winter sorted them from the silt and kept them in the refrigerator. These are such small red worms. He always bored me)).

A moth is a mosquito larva. In winter, they live in ponds. When the pond is covered with ice, a hole is cut and the silt is lifted from the bottom to the surface with a large net. This is where mosquito larvae hibernate.

Today I am talking about how I got an aquarium and golden gourami. I could not breed them, because this requires more knowledge than I have, although I have a lot of literature on breeding fish. We just kept them to admire them. And we fed them these mosquito larvae, which we call - moth.

В мене все життя був акваріум. Ще маленькою мої батьки держали рибок. Потім у батька з’явилася алергія на корм, яким ми кормили рибок і акваріум прийшлось прибрати, а рибок роздати. Так пройшов певний час і я знов вирішила завести собі рибок. Купила всі засоби для утримання рибок в акваріумі. Туди входив фільтр, обігрівач, лампа, теж треба було купити водорості і каміння.

Все це я зібрала і запустила своїх гарненьких рибок. Спочатку це були золоті гурамі. Вони такі гарні на вигляд. Ми постійно ними милувалися.

Гірамі не потребуюсь особливого уходу. Треба кормити їх як звичайних акваріумних рибок. Можна давати живий корм.

Мій батько узимку ловив мотиля в річці і перебирав від мулу, зберігав у холодильнику. Це такі маленькі червоні черв’ячки. Він них завжди мене нудило)).

Мотиль це личинка комара. Взимку вони живуть в ставках. Коли ставок покривається льодом, вирубують проруб і великим сачком піднімали з дна мул на поверхню. Ось там і зимують личинки комарів.

Хоча сьогодні я розповідаю про те, як в мене з’явився акваріум і золоті гурамі. Розвести в мене їх не виходило, тому що для цього треба більше знання чим я маю, хоча в мене багато літератури по розведенню риб. Ми їх просто тримали, щоб ними любуватися. І кормили ми їх цими личинками комарів, які називаємо – мотиль.
