They are a powerful psychedelic mushroom. I would love to try it one day. It’s the Mario mushroom that gives him super powers.
There are also rumors that this is where the story of Santa Clause came from. The reindeer in the area would eat them and they would start tripping and jump around. That’s where the whole “flying reindeer” thing may have come from. People would also dry these mushrooms out by hanging them on trees, which is where some people think the tree decorating thing came from as well.
