Three Years Apart
Hello to the world. Hope you all are living the best of your lives. Before starting my yapping class, here is a recap from our journey, and the reason behind the title "three years apart".

Recap
The story is pretty simple. We - me, my brother, big Pasha, little Pasha, Munshi, Zizuo - are all blood related. Back in days, we used to do everything together: playing video games, football, same school different classes (age difference) etc. So yes, we have been close since the age of so-called sanity. In 2020, we started our journey - the search for capital. I went to Islamabad for higher education, same way everyone did. Now, we all are studying or working in different cities, as well as countries. Since then, we only gather when fate decides to. We do meet each other, but all at one place? It takes years to happen.
Three years apart, we meet again.
Funny enough, three years later, we all gathered at the same place, followed the same routine, and even eaten the same. First two were our choices; third one was not, it was a coincidence. And, there is another coincidence: Christropher Nolan. Last time, we happened to see "Oppenheimer" by "Christropher Nolan" together. This time, it was "The Odyssey" by the same legend. I guess, Nolan is the binding force for all of us.
The Departure
It took my group 3-days just to decide the whole plan. After three days, we followed the same exact plan: going to cinema, eat desi and fastfood, and gaming zone.
On Saturday, we were supposed to leave early in the morning, but as usual, we left at 3:30 PM. Nothing new especially for the people of this - South Asian - region. Cinema tickets were already booked, and now, we were standing at the bus station waiting for a bus. God knows, the anxiety we were having at that moment was getting out of control. However, the bus arrived after some time. And somehow, we managed to arrive there right on time.

The weather played a significant role in our day. Though, there were no signs of rain, still it was beautiful. The only problem we faced was a long-queue. After some time, the staff announced that we can go in by using our online tickets. Otherwise, we might have gone inside after an hour.
Previously, we were in competition with time. The late departure, no bus and the long queue really had a hard impact on us. But now, we were relaxed. So now, let the fun begin.
>Watching the Odyssey as Christropher Nolan did not intend.
Because of intense demand, there was no interval at all. And believe me, I did not even wish for it. Throughout the movie I wished it to be a season. Being a student of literature, Greek Mythology is the crux of almost every literature, we read today. So my love for such movies is already biased. There is so much to talk about the movie, but I am not writing a review or analysis. So, I will keep it short.
Anne Hathway, oh my words, she nailed every part of it. The dialogue she has with Telemachus, and the way she says: "I want Odeysseus" is spectacular. The ending seemed bit hasty to me, and later on, I found out that IMAX has a time limit. Anyways, one of the finest movie, I have watched after Oppenheimer.

By 10:00 PM, we came out of the cinema, spent another hour discussing every aspect of it. Even thought of watching another movie, but there was nothing special for us anymore. Now it is 11:00 PM, and almost every food point was "delivery only". Why? Preventive measures to control fuel usage because of absurd wars.
Unexpected Turn
We ordered KFC deals, and went to the gaming zone. Alas! There were only two free computers. It was something, we were not expecting at all. So, we pre-booked for Sunday, waited for the food, ate it and left for cousin's home. On arrival, we got freshen up. Some went to sleep, while me and cousin played PES till the dawn. Both of us have been competing in this, and majority of times, he beats me pretty easily because of his team strength. Still, we always enjoy close calls.
Rain
Though the weather was already indicating rain, and this time, we were not enthusiastic about it. Because, we were having our moments under an open sky. But, nature , you know, never listens to anyone. It was nothing short of torrential rain. And thanks to that, we were now caged inside a room, as hot as Tandoor (clay oven). After some hours, the UPS had given up. Next ahead, I wore my shorts and enjoyed the rain. Also clicked this:

At least, this Niaz Bo was enjoying every moment of it. And, if you ask me, nothing comes closer to the rainy greenery. It looks exceptionally beautiful.
By the time I laid down, it was already dawn. Rather than going to sleep, I just took a little nap. Because, SUNDAY IS FUNDAY! I will rest later on. Though, I know that later on is not coming any soon. Did breakfast, and once again, left for the gaming zone.
>10-years of Rainbow Six Siege
You talk about loyalty, I see my group. We have played lots of online games, but whenever we come to gaming zone, we always play "Tom Clancy: Rainbow Six Siege". This time, we did the same. Next ahead, we had to divide the team equally on equity basis. Four of us could play it well, two could just play. So already decided.
First match was cruel to my team. Lol! I have not played Rainbow for some months now, so it was bound to happen. But, in the second match, we made a huge comeback. I was able to control sensitivity, plus I had to change my headset.

Here is another click of the wallpaper, which being an anime lover, I loved. The coloring and the pose makes it beautiful.
We played for seven hours straight, and were ready to play for another two or three hours. Any usual gamer can feel us. Rest are allowed to call us dumb :)
After such a long-haul, first thing I did was stretching my body. It had become stiff. And to get rid of tiny bit of headache came the ultimate saviour - CHAI (tea).
The End
Just like any other thing, this one had to come to an end as well.
After finishing our tea, we packed our bags and started our journey back. Of course, we all were exhausted. THe lack of sleep, seven hours of sitting and two days of reckless life. Tomorrow, we all have things to do. Three years apart, it is funny how time changes everything; yet some people never change. We still laugh at the same old jokes, talk about nostalgic moments, argue our dumb things and bully each other during gaming session. For two days, we were the same child, we used to be.
Hopefully, it will not take another three years - although, Nolan says it will take three years for the next movie. So if it does, I know one thing for certain: we are going to follow the same pattern. Until then, let the life humble us with its infinite tactics.

Have you watched the Odyssey?

Yeah is interesting how family unite and disband but then things work like nothing has happened. Same thing with my siblings. We meet on Christmas and it's like old times. Hope things work out for you and value the time. My question is how in touch are you digitally. On 2020s "zoom era" is sort of trivial to chat and see each other all the time. It's more about agenda matching. But even then you can make time on the weekends and such
