The city is not a concrete jungle, it is a human zoo

"The city is not a concrete jungle, it is a human zoo" , This quote by Desmond Morris took my attention and made me think. Forests is the actual freedom, not the cities. We people living in cities bounded to various responsibilities and waste our life for nothing. We really miss the real freedom of life.

When considering the relationship between human feelings and rainforests this quote really supports my idea.

I'm going to share some inspirational quotes about forests today with you. Let's take a look at them one by one.

Protecting rainforests is really important. I wish I get an opportunity to visit the largest rainforest, Amazon one day if it is still there till I collect enough funds.

In the 24 hours since this time yesterday, over 200,000 acres of rainforest have been destroyed in our world. Fully 13 million tons of toxic chemicals have been released into our environment. Over 45,000 people have died from starvation, 38,000 of them children. And more than 130 plant and animal species have been driven to extinction by the actions of humans. Hi @stinkbug. I see you're new on Hive, so let me drop you a few suggestions to help you navigate better on our platform.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Inspire People or ecoTrain community.

OCD is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.
