The New Yam Reunion - My Monomad Challenge Entry

My dad invited us all for the new yam festival, it was a full house. Every year, the Igbo people, a tribe in Nigeria; celebrate a cultural celebration tagged the new yam festival. This celebration marks the beginning of a bountiful harvest, and usually signifies a lot of positive things. My dad used this as an opportunity to invite all his children to the house and it was a great catching up experience with all my siblings. I did also devour a large potion of yam anyways, so my visit was definitely a fruitful one. With the whole crew all together in one place again, it was an opportunity for me to get some photos of everyone.

I was really excited to meet everyone, particularly my heavenly, and she reminded of my promise of ice cream. I was trying to capture a bird-eye-view kinda shot but the sun kept getting into her eyes, so I couldn't really get what I really wanted. I did also notice my focus was a bit off, can't tell if that's because of my lens or just me being out of it today. Anyhoo, I loved the images and the folks in the image. Thank you for reading. Till next one.
