Random Street Photos - My Monomad Challenge Entry

I have a thing for people at their workplace, with uniforms. Maybe public servants. I usually walk past a number of police posts, traffic wardens, law enforcement, etc. They are always diligent at work, and you get to see them dance while directing traffic when you're lucky. I saw these two policemen in the booth, and I contemplated going to them to ask for permission to shoot. They kept looking at me funny with my camera around my neck. I didn't care. I just kept on shooting. I only got to shoot their booth without them been there.

The elections are coming, hence the posters are all over. The damned politicians who only remember their citizens before elections. Oh well, it is what it is. I enjoy taking photos of objects and monuments like this. They always seem to tell a story beyond what we see. Great outing this.

All photos were taken with my NikonD3200

Dear @stevenson7,
Hey, your support for the previous Hive Authentication Services proposal which expired a few days ago has been much appreciated.
May I ask you to review and support the new proposal (https://peakd.com/me/proposals/240)? It only needs a few percent to be funded and your support will certainly help.br>
Thank you!

Hey, sir @stevenson7.. Oh, how I missed your pictures.

..., and I contemplated going to them to ask for permission to shoot

Well, this is not America. I bet they will give you the chance to do so. Perhaps they may think you are an undercover agent or media. Even the booth pics you got, you are indirectly propagating that politician on the poster. Or are you really?😀🤔😏 You know, maybe there is something I am missing...

All in all, your monochrome has shown me some parts of Lagos that I missed - the construction aspect though. Which area is this by the way?

Omo, maybe they might have agreed. Next outing, I'm going to ask the law enforcement and see what they say.

This is ikeja, abestos bustop, adeniyi Jones side.

Long time no see man.

Hope you're well?

Pls do and let us hear their response.

I am doing fine, comrade. I was just kind of choked up for about a week. How have you been too?
