Islands iced in

Welcome to my #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. It was a pretty day at the lake.

Sun rise

I made it out early and caught the sun peaking over the mountains on the south side of the lake.

Sun under clouds

The south end of the lake is shallow and has been iced over for awhile now.

Morning sun

Mount Moosalamoo is hidden in the clouds across the lake. There is a road running around the lake. By the time I reached the north end of the lake, the sun was up and the sky was blue.

White snow and white clouds

The water is still open on this end of the lake. The lake is up to 100 ft deep here.

Dock in winter

I walked down to the small marina. The marina is sheltered by a small island. This calm, shallow part of the lake was also iced over.

Wintery lake

It was cold for my walk but the view was nice.

Snowy mountain

Blue water and blue skies with white snow on the mountains and white clouds.

Icy shore

Very cool photos especially with the "marina island". But I escape the winter for a few days in the sun. Enjoy your day.

Icy and cold but so beautiful with the magical light you caught at that time
