Sundance
Sundance, Utah.
We took a swing through Sundance on our recent trip to Utah.
The Sundance resort was purchased in 1968 by Robert Redford and named after his role in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Here's some History
The locals are dismissive of the skiing due to the lower elevation and shorter season compared to resorts in the Wasatch Range like Park City.
To expand the appeal of Sundance, Redford started the Sundance Film Festival wanting to model Sundance after Aspen in Colorado.
The resort is very nice and pricey. But the mountain views are free 🙂 there is a loop road through the valley which is one of the best fall drives in Utah.
As a fan of Robert Redford and the Sundance Catalog, we wanted to visit and it is a beautiful place.

I didn't know the history of this town or even that Robert Redford bought it... beautiful mountains.
Have a great day
Compared to stuff celebs often blow their money on, I think it was a good buy 🙂
