Some Fall Color

A lovely maple in Middlebury, Vermont. I've been complaining about fall colors but there are some out there ๐

And there is some color on the mountains around Lake Dunmore. I haven't caught the right lighting and water for good reflection photos.

Reflections better up close. Like along around the cabins on the west shore.

This maple was also in Middlebury. I took some time on our last visit to drive around checking out colors.

Reflections like this can also be nice. Even thought they are not crisp and perfect, the ripples on the lake add a slightly impressionistic vibe.

Here's a pair of maples from town. Nice wall of color. Thats whats missing this year, continuous vistas of color. I'm still enjoying the New England fall. I've been lucky to get some great shots over the years so I'm always looking for one to top the archived shots ๐
But nature can be fickle, always beautiful but not always cooperative lol
That photo of the lake is stunning. Looks like a painting ๐ youโre really lucky to have that lovely landscape around.
Grateful everyday
This is something you don't see on our native trees, most are evergreen
Itโs beautiful but then winter follows ๐ we are in an interesting spot because we have mixed forests - hard wood and softwood (basically deciduous and conifers) farther south in the Eastern US itโs all hardwood farther north it turns all pine
I love the color of the maple trees during fall seasons. So lovely.
Thanks. It is lovely in Vermont right now.
That first maple is stunning! Still bits of color...
Thanks. Since I was finding any big sweeping, colorful vistas I decided to take a few pics of individual trees.
So this is a maple tree looks like.
I love it, it's my first time seeing it and I fall in love with it.
Thanks. Maples are beautiful in the Fall in Vermont.
Those are some awesome trees.
