Snapshots from Vermont

Low lying clouds on a fall morning at Lake Dunmore.

This post is a random collection of fall shots around Vermont. We are in the middle of the season, still lots of leaves on the trees but also starting to pile up underneath the trees.

I stopped to take some shots of some maples with burning bush underneath. Lighting wasn't good for the shot I pictured in my head but I like the trees backlit with the morning sun.

I took the time to walk around the the other side for the shot I wanted.

Colors are all along my morning walk. Lots of maples around the old woodframe Vermont farmhouses.

A recent sunset. I was a little late with the photo. With the middling colors this year, the golden hour really helps the color.

Another shot of the maples and burning bushes. What a lovely place for a walk, I pictured this as a trail under the trees but it really wasn't... didn't lead anywhere. Hope you enjoyed this little bit of fall in Vermont. Thanks for checking out my post.
Stunning, so beautiful the warm colours. Autumn is special.
Thanks. Its the best time of the year in Vermont.
You are welcome. Yep, I know… and we always missed peak. Haha one day we are in the right spot at the right time…
Thanks @stresskiller and @ecency for the support
Simply gorgeous!
Thanks. The fall is looking better than I thought with the late summer drought that is still going.
Beautiful ❤️
Thanks. The fall is looking good lately
Even here, so beautiful. I love the colors. 🥰
I've been loving the color that comes out in the trees as the sun goes down behind them. Not the best color I've ever seen around here, but it's better than I thought it would be and has lasted much longer than usual.
Loved the cloud over the lake photo.
Thanks. I was in a hurry for fall and gave up on it too early. Its coming around better than I thought.
Barely starting over here I've only ever had two years where everything changed at the same time to barely begin looking like Vermont.
Vermont lives up to its reputation in the fall 🙂
