Pretty mushrooms (and some chantrelles)
I snapped these photos of some nice looking mushrooms. Scaly inky cap (Coprinopsis variegata) likely according to Google π
I just noticed these on one of our daily walks down to the lake.
I have had a little luck foraging lately and brought home some chantrelles.
We have been enjoying working through the chantrelles. Had some on burgers, lots in omelettes, added to a pasta bake. They are just good tasting in about anything π
There are still some in the fridge.
They are holding up pretty well.
I didn't get any photos when out foraging. Its been raining all week. Should be some good foraging opportunities coming up ππ

Always good to have a few chanterelles in an omelette. Simple and delicious.
Have a great day
A day that starts with a chanterelle, cheese and sausage omelette is always a good day π
The toadstools family look very appealing. Awesome fungiscape! And congrats with the first chantrelles crop. π
Thanks. I caught the toadstools perfect. They were a mess after just another day or two. Hopefully many more chantrelles to come π
