Nature vs nurture
Beautiful yellow to orange amanita mushroom.
Sometimes you just have to stop and take some pictures. This little mushroom was lovely.
But this is a post about flowers 😆 sometimes nature provides beauty that can't be matched.
We have some hanging baskets and small flower beds in the garden.
The tomato plants and morning glories are now higher than the hanging baskets 🙄
Since our yard is full of rocks, I gathered some up and built small rock lined flower beds at the base of each fence post. We always plant some marigolds and usually a few other flowers in each bed. This year we planted a few morning glories that really love climbing up the fence posts 🙂 But despite all my work nurturing flowers, the most beautiful photos in this post are of the little mushroom growing naturally in the woods.
Thumbs up for the mushroom photos too! :)
Thanks the mushrooms photos were my favorite

The mushroom do have nice colours but I guess those lovely ones are really not to be eaten.
All I have is a piece of hard rock candy. But it's not for eatin'. It's just for lookin' through.
haha classic line from old movie
Wow, I don't remember this but I see some Clint Eastwood's before.
I almost thought that amanita was a waxycap at first. The garden is looking epic, hopefully the deer aren't craning their necks over to eat the good stuff.
Thanks. The garden doubles as a day care 😜 well not really because we don't trust Lisa's cousins in there alone lol
