Marigolds

Orange

Marigolds are very common in gardens.

Orange 2

And yet they are still very pretty splashes of color worth a little appreciation.

Yellow

Marigolds come in a range of colors primarily yellow to orange.

Light Yellow

Some varieties are deer and rabbit resistent.

Older

My dad always planted them on the edge of his garden to keep pests out. Not sure if this works but it is a common pratice.

Orange to Red

Hope you enjoyed a little color from my garden 👍

They are lovely, aren't they? And usually so easy to grow.

They are one of those flowers that grows all over the world. Especially when we traveled to Mexico last year in November, day of the dead was incredible and there were marigolds everywhere!

Awesome 👍 I believe marigolds are perennials is some places. I would bet Mexico might be one of those places.

I like the smell of marigolds. My husband did not. He dreaded the first frost as I would pick a lot and bring them inside.

Ahh First frost. The beginning of the end. And worse yet, the bringing in of the marigolds! haha
