Magic Invisible Reflection Cube
The Magic Invisible Reflection Cube.
Here it disappears. Its hard to even see the edge of the building in the clouds/reflections or in the brick building/reflections.
The Cube is the Colby College Museum of Art on the Colby College campus in Waterville, Maine.
The new main museum building was opened in 2013. More information on the museum is available here ---> Colby Museum
The museum building morphs as you walk around the campus and the reflections change.
My favorite views are along this side where the sky and the museum blend together. The beautiful building also holds a nice art collection with many eras, styles, and different media represented. When we visited there was an Eastman Johnson exhibit which highlighted Maine in his works. It also included some Winslow Homer works who painted a similar style and also has some depictions of Maine.
Very cool building with this architecture... the side's view is incredible.
Have a great Sunday

Thanks. That side view is so cool. I honestly had to do a double take to find the edge of the building 🙂

That's a lovely reflection. I also like the side angle and the first one. :)

It looks like there is some kind of tint on the glasses. Otherwise, it'd be trouble for the birds trying to fly inside the building.
Yeah I think you are right 🙂 thanks for checking out my post
