Kansas Sunrise

Thumb

I witnessed an beautiful sunrise in Kansas. Since the clocks fell back this weekend, I was up early and got out with first light.

Sky

I made a quick trip to visit family in southeast Kansas.

Street

Big skies made for some nice color.

Tree

There were some thunderstorms starting to develop.

Pastels

Kansas is in tornado alley and we were under a tornado watch one evening. The tornados went south and east of where I was staying so no danger or damage. But it was pretty incredible watching the local weather coverage. They had storm chasers on three sides of the tornado in Oklahoma providing video footage of a tornado on the ground. Flipping between the different views and repositioning to follow the storm. Pretty crazy stuff. Straight out of a movie like Twister. It was one of those moments when you realize that a movie you dismissed as sensationalized is not that far from reality 😅

Beautiful skies but tornados are scary. We are just starting storm season here.

Thanks for the support 🙏 🙏 Vermont has been warm the last few days. The snow pack is going away quickly.

Our snow is gone. Not that we couldn't still get more, but spring is getting closer!

The daffodils were up and the crab trees were blooming in Kansas. I think it was 80F the day we left.
