Duke Gardens
Visited the Duke Gardens in Durham, North Carolina over the weekend.
More info on gardens here ---> Duke Gardens
The gardens are 55 acres of peace and serenity in the middle of Duke University.
This bench was calling my name but it was on the sunny side of the pond 😅 the heat and humidity were a bit high.
The red bridge was a focal point of the Japanese section of the gardens.
Great reflections on the morning we visitied. I always like pockets of nature in urban areas.

Such lovely captures. The red bridge stands out well surrounded by so much green.
I can imagine the sunny side and bench was too hot to sit down.
Have a wonderful day.

Thanks, The red bridge is a distinctive feature of many Japanese gardens. Probably some lore behind that...
You are welcome. There must be a story for sure behind it.
Have a lovely day!

I was currently imagining if you would really come and sit on that chair😂
I would only go there when its in the shade 🙂
Now that's a good reflection hunters shot. Hopefully they have some koi in the pond.
What would a Japanese garden be without koi? There were koi in one of the ponds.
