A few flowers from Vermont
I stopped to take a few flower pictures on my morning walk. The first is this lovely Hibiscus. I love the red bleeding out into the white.
The color varies a bit from bloom to bloom this one is more white.

Next up, some Tiger Lilies. We have been watching these waiting for them to bloom.
They are beautiful lilies.
These are actually at the neighbors house that owns the dock where I take pictures every morning 🙂
Final flower of the day, chicory. This is a variety I have posted photos of before. I was looking for new flowers I hadn't posted yet. But this mornings photo was too good not to post.
Chicory grows wild along the roadside and in the fields. Its a nice bit of color that lasts quite awhile in the mid to late summer.
I love the different colors here. Bright colors always brightens up the day too.

Pretty Hibiscus, ee call that Gumamela here in the Philippines. That tiger lily is so pretty too. The pattern on its petal is really like of a tiger. Chicory's beauty is also really magnificent. It would be awesome if I saw the two in person. I wonder if we have them in the Philippines too.
Thanks. The Tiger Lilies are cultivated so maybe but they do need a cold winter to bloom the following year.
These are lovely! I just love tiger lilies. These are doubled ones that I hadn't seen before.
Aren't they lovely 🙂 They recently planted them I think so must have bought the double ones. I just read online about them. Its an ancient mutation that has been preserved not a recent hybrid (like I assumed).
