RE: People are not good at separating waste. Here is why.

In Belgium it is incentived to separate it. Atleast as a individual, we pay less for our organic waste compared to 'general waste'. If we don't sort it out, it won't be taken away.

Companies (and individuals) are even forbidden by law since the first of January to throw organic waste into the general waste. How they will sanction (and control) this? I have no idea..
