These photos were taken at a kite event in Cervia (Ravenna - Italy).
The kites that can be seen at this event are of various types.
There are four types of kites: static kites, fighting kites, acrobatic kites, and traction kites. The kite has always been a source of inspiration and imagination. Whenever I see a kite, I am always reminded of the time when I was a child and tried to fly my own kite.
Here I briefly explain the 4 types of kites listed above.
-Static kite is controlled by a single line and remains fixed in the sky, no manoeuvres are performed on this type of kite. It is a kite whose construction is simple.
-The fighting kite is controlled by a single string and can be manoeuvred in different ways making the kite both stable and unstable, which is why it is called a fighting kite.
-The stunt kite, on the other hand, is controlled by two strings through which you can make the kite perform different stunts by combining the use of the two strings.
-The pull kite is a large, manoeuvrable kite and is so called because it exerts a push on the pilot. Various sports, such as kite surfing, are performed with this type of kite.

Queste foto le ho scattate durante una manifestazione di aquiloni a Cervia (Ravenna - Italia).
Gli aquiloni che si possono vedere in questa manifestazione sono di varie tipologie.
Gli aquiloni possono essere di 4 tipologie e sono le seguenti: aquiloni statici, aquiloni combattenti, aquiloni acrobatici, aquiloni da trazione. L’aquilone è sempre stato fonte di ispirazione e fantasia. Ogni volta che vedo un aquilone mi ritorna sempre in mente il periodo in cui ero bambino e provavo a fare volare il mio aquilone.
Qui di seguito spiego brevemente le 4 tipologie di aquiloni elencate prima.
-L'aquilone statico è controllato da un solo filo e rimane fisso nel cielo, non si eseguono manovre su questa tipologia di aquilone. E’ un aquilone la cui costruzione è semplice.
-L'aquilone combattente è controllato da un unico filo e si può manovrare in diversi modi rendendo l’aquilone sia stabile che instabile, per questo motivo viene chiamato aquilone combattente.
-L'aquilone acrobatico è invece controllato da due cavi tramite i quali si riescono a far eseguire all’aquilone diverse acrobazie combinando proprio l’uso dei due cavi.
-L'aquilone da trazione è un aquilone di grandi dimensioni, manovrabile ed è chiamato così perché esercita una spinta nei confronti di chi lo pilota. Con questa tipologia di aquiloni si eseguono diversi sport, come il kite surf.
