Cesenatico (FC-Italy)-Levante Beach-[EN]-[IT]

Cesenatico is a mainly tourist, but not only, town in the province of Forlì-Cesena in Italy. It is a municipality of just over 25000 inhabitants, given in 2022.
Cesenatico's population has always been growing since 1861, a time when it had just over 5,000 residents. In 1980 the population reached 20,000 and then reached 25,000 just after 2020 as written earlier.
One of the things it is known for is its sandy shoreline and bathing establishments.
In this post I show the stretch of beach that is between Andrea Costa Square and the pier, that is, a section of the Levante Beach.

Cesenatico è un paese principalmente turistico, ma non solo, in provincia di Forlì-Cesena in Italia.E’ un comune di poco più di 25000 abitanti, dato del 2022.
La popolazione di Cesenatico è stata sempre in crescita sin dal 1861, periodo in cui aveva poco più di 5000 residenti. Nel 1980 la popolazione raggiunse i 20.000 abitanti per poi raggiungere i 25000 abitanti proprio dopo il 2020 come scritto prima.
Una delle cose per cui è conosciuto è il suo litorale sabbioso e i suoi stabilimenti balneari.
In questo post mostro il tratto di spiaggia che è tra piazza Andrea Costa e il molo, cioè un tratto della spiaggia levante.

Cesenatico beach is 7 km long and there are just over 120 bathing establishments. The shoreline is divided into the east and west zones.

La spiaggia di Cesenatico è lunga 7 Km e ci sono poco più di 120 stabilimenti balneari. Il litorale si divide in zona di levante e zona di ponente.

The bathhouses have undergone continuous renovations and upgrades to a modern and welcoming design.

Gli stabilimenti balneari sono stati soggetti a continue ristrutturazioni e aggiornamenti, fino ad arrivare ad un design moderno e accogliente.

In the central area of ​​Cesenatico, that is the one that goes from the skyscraper to the pier, there is the eastern beach. This beach is close to a cycle / pedestrian path and the so-called “Giardini del Mare”, a green space where there are games for children, paths and relaxation areas.
Below is a photo of the sandy coast of Cesenatico at low tide. This photo was taken during the early hours of a summer morning.

Nella zona centrale di Cesenatico, cioè quella che va dal grattacielo al molo, si trova la spiaggia di levante. Questa spiaggia è vicina ad una pista ciclopedonale e ai cosiddetti giardini del mare, uno spazio verde in cui si trovano giochi per bambini, sentieri e aree relax.
Qui di seguito una foto del litorale sabbioso di Cesenatico durante la bassa marea. Questa foto è stata scattata durante le prime ore di una mattina d’estate.

The bathing establishments in Cesenatico Levante have many services. Sunbeds for relaxing or sunbathing, beach umbrellas, toilets, bars, small restaurants and some even have a proper restaurant inside. The beaches are well organised and clean. It is not easy to maintain such a high level of cleanliness when these places are so crowded in summer. Photo shows an example of what the arrangement of umbrellas inside a beach establishment looks like.

Gli stabilimenti balneari di Cesenatico levante dispongono di molti servizi. Lettini per rilassarsi o prendere il sole, ombrelloni, servizi igienici, Bar, piccola ristorazione ed alcuni hanno anche un vero e proprio ristorante all’interno. Le spiagge sono ben organizzate e pulite. Non è semplice mantenere un livello di pulizia così alto quando d’estate questi posti sono affollatissimi. In foto un esempio di come è la disposizione degli ombrelloni all’interno di uno stabilimento balneare.

Some bathing establishments have volleyball courts, beach tennis courts and areas equipped to deposit kayaks or stand up paddles within their areas.
These places are great for both relaxation and sports.

Alcuni stabilimenti balneari possiedono all’interno delle loro aree dei campi da pallavolo, dei campi da beach tennis e delle aree attrezzate per depositare kayak o stand up paddle.
Questi posti sono ottimi sia per rilassarsi che per fare sport.

In these parts, SUP, or Stand up paddle, has become fashionable. More and more people are buying a Stand up paddle and leaving it in storage for the whole summer in the bathhouse. The SUP is similar to a surfboard with a thicker thickness in which you stand and advance using a paddle. In the photo a series of SUP ready to be used.

Da queste parti è diventato di moda il SUP, ovvero Stand up paddle. Sempre più persone acquistano un Stand up paddle e lo lasciano in deposito per tutta l’estate nello stabilimento balneare. Il SUP è simile ad una tavola da surf con uno spessore più grosso in cui si sta in piedi e si avanza tramite una pagaia. Nella foto una serie di SUP pronti per essere usati.

At the end of the eastern beach we find the Cesenatico pier. From this point the whole beach of Cesenatico Levante begins. This is a pier that is used for both tourist boats and fishing boats.

Alla fine della spiaggia di levante troviamo il molo di Cesenatico. Da questo punto inizia tutto il lido di spiaggia di Cesenatico levante. Questo è un molo che viene usato sia per parcheggiare le barche dei turisti che per il rimessaggio delle imbarcazioni dei pescatori.
