I like Berlin as it seems a pretty civilised city with some quirks. I think you can get all sorts of food and drink there. We found a place that did Kölsch as it was a Cologne/Köln style bar.

I am a city person, I feel comfortable in cities in general, and Berlin is no exception to this :) As a multicultural city, it offers a wide palette of restaurants and bistros of almost any imaginable cuisine.
Kölsch as a cuisine, or Kölsch as an old beer style? I come across it surprising often in the Mediterranean area - in Italy or Spain for some reason :)
It was a Kölsch bar, so they had the food too. I think we just had a drink there.
