Nature never goes out of style [In awe with Billygoat]
"If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere." – Laura Ingalls Wilder.
Honestly speaking, It seems I started falling in love with my usual daily walk. While it helps me to make up with the physical workout. Most of the time it leads me to unknown path of discoverinv the nature's beauty. I already shared my two discovery earlier. Firstly it was Cockscomb or Silver Cocks Comb. And Secondly, it was Pink Node Flower. Both of them were considered to be weeds, however they have certain medicinal benefits but not in common use in our place. Both of them were considered weeds or unwanted plant. It was easier catch, as these were found growing in my farming fields.
Now again, I get hold of another weeds. But this time I have to make a bit of effort to trace them.
Purple in colours with hair all over, it is just another masterpiece of nature. It was growing in woods, there were many of them, but the hairy top caught my attention. This is known as Billygoat weed or Goatweed.
What more attracted me was the fully blossomed hairy parts and surrounded by many buds around it. The buds were too small in the stems.
I am not a naturalist nor a geologist to make a study on this plants. It happens that these randomly pulls my attention and I cannot stop praising their beauty. While the bigger plant caught me in the woods, I found the same plant in my terrace garden. It does not have the look, but was growing having little flowering buds getting ready to blossom.
Ageratum conyzoides commonly grows in the proximity of habitation, thrives in any garden and agricultural soils and is very common in disturbed sites and degraded areas. It invades forest, woodland, grassland, cultivated land
This plant is mostly been used as a border and bedding plant for its purple or white flowers. But here in India it grows as weed. I found them abundance in the forest region. At many places in the world this same plant is used as an traditional medicine.
Whatever it can be used for, but the hairy portion allow me to explore bit of these. Known as wild weeds, we never care for them. But it has a natural look to appreciate for another gift of nature.
The weed looks beautiful. The color makes it more captivating; I have never come across such weeds before. Nature, indeed, is one of a kind.
The color and hairy look.is what makes them very valuable....it has of multiple shades...pre natural bliss
Nature always surprises, it is a marvel to find a beautiful flower like this one at every step. I love the pictures!🌺
This flower also grows as weed on the other side of border. You have captured really beautiful clicks of this plant. Hairs of this flower are looking beautiful 😉.
