"Life in a Park" - Recalling childhood memories !
Visiting a Park always bring back my childhood memories. I am referring to the green park with lots of trees and greenery all around unlike the modern days amusement parks, where the spaces were filled with rides and people. I always cherish the childhood memories that were spend in a park. I remember my Dad took us to the park for some swings and fun with balls and balloons. Those were some fascinating days. Now after decades, I got a chance to spend some idle time alone in an open park. The park with lots of big trees and open spaces. I am enjoying my time but instead capturing the lively atmosphere, I prefer to observe the people who came in there to enjoy their time on a Sunday afternoon.
It was a pleasant Sunday afternoon after a while and perfect weather for a much needed outing. The park was near to my place, but usually avoided it. But today, I made the day counted.
Parks offer exposure to nature, which can be calming and reduce stress. It was a while since I went for an outing. Sunday offering a pleasant weather allow me to move out. I preferred to spend some alone time than watching any movie. After taking a stroll of the park, I choose a cemented bench near a big trees for resting.
The tree is very big, offering cool breeze under it. It provides completes shadow and can make anyone to relax. When I was kid, I used to sleep under these big trees. I was enjoying my time, when two boys came for clicking some pictures under the tree. They tried different posses.
These young kids are so much enthusiast about taking picture. The smartphone just make their job quite easy. Either selfie or a portrait. They needed all sort of picture for social media account update. And these two boys just took few clicks ad went. They were not like me who was enjoying the cool breeze.
In a distant, the parks has few slides for the kids. The iron slides were used to be attraction for every park. Get on top of it and slide down. I remember doing it multiple times in my childhood days. This one is quite a bit with iron stairs to climb and two sliding platform on opposite sides. I wish I could slide once, but now I am an adult and these slides were meant for the kids.
I think the time was not suitable for any kids to enjoy these. But sure these swings were crowded in the evening time. No matter what generation the kids belongs everybody must have enjoyed these slides. Sitting there and recounting all my childhood memories, I began my walk back to home it gets late and was due to prepare my Sunday lunch. But in the meantime, it was relaxing moments that recalled all my past memories.

In good faith - Peace!!
You know what? I love trees, not because I'm a witch and hide in them in the form of a fairy, but because I think they symbolise many things, such as family, heritage... That tree is beautiful, and so are your photographs. Thank you!🤗

Not only did I grow up in a tiny town in western Poland surrounded by lakes and forests, but I also lived on the very outskirts of that town, where life simply flowed — and still flows — very slowly. After more than twenty years, I came back to live here again. And we don’t even have parks, because our town is basically inside a forest or nestled between forests.
But it was really nice to read your article — it reminded me of how life used to be and of certain differences. Like how today, the world has changed so much that many things are now seen as therapeutic, when thirty years ago they were just… what they were. Just the day before yesterday, we were sitting with the family around a campfire, and someone said that fire has therapeutic properties.
Fire hasn't suddenly acquired some extra qualities. It's just that we’ve begun to distinguish modern life from tribal life — the kind centered around fire. We've simply forgotten that tribal life is real life. And sometimes, a park or a campfire reminds us of that.
so true ! may be we lacked carrying the legacy of the ancestors and in pursuit to modernization and comfort in life, we forget the basics of life. Now the life has put us in a mess, so we started to find therapy in everything that makes us happy and relax....be in bonfire, or visit to a park or finding solace in nature.

Your visit reminds me that no matter how much time passes, those peaceful moments in nature can bring back the purest, happiest memories. Sometimes, a quiet day in the park is just what we need to feel refreshed.
