Hanging out with this monkey brew !

People just need an excuse to sip a bottle of beer. And I was played victim for yesterday bottle of beer. It was occasion of Mansa Puja (as religiosity festival) and I was invited at friends home. Generally, the ritual is to offer some sacrifices to goddess Mansa and then sharing the prasadsm with all. Assuming it to be another day to eat #mutton, I went to join my friends in the morning. But instead he took me to the local beer shop early in the day.

It was an unexpected turn of event, I wanted to deny so early in the day, but my friend keep on insisting. He wanted it desperately before eating the mutton. To give him a company I have join in and to avoid situation to worsen, I made the offer to pay. Unusually avoid paying to alcohol expenses, but yesterday I did it.

The other reason, I was avoiding drinking beer was brand that was available in that shop counter. Not all the shop keep all the beer brand. Every other kiosks are selling different brand of beer. The kiosks where we went near my friends home alwsys keeps Bad monkey whose taste does not goes well with me last time. But his continous insisting made me to order bottles of Bad monkey

Last time when I had the can of this brand, it tasted very bitter. I quickly felt uneasy with foul smell. I am ok with light drink, but getting bitter brewing taste made me to avoid it. But this time ordered the Green bottle expecting something different, and it actually comes out nicely. The Green bottle has a perfect mild taste of brew, that does not get hard on me. It has the perfect taste to sip.

Have you noticed that most of the #beer bottle arr sold in either brown or green bottle. There is some science related with it. These coloe has something to do with UV rays, that keep the brew safe. Many brands continue to use green bottles for tradition, marketing, and to convey a sense of premium quality.

Looking at the bottle, I wish, they had chosen some other picture. The acary monkey picture does remind me of the movie planet of apes. Pouring the beer in the glass does give foamy texture along with a light chilled liquid.

Finding the lighter taste, we didn't order any specific snack. But instead we ordered Green Cucumber. Green salads does goes well with alcohol. So consuming 2-3 cucumber does give a nice taste. The beer does taste better with no bitterness and bad aroma. Here is how it all goes down :

There is a huge difference between the can beer and this beer. I am slightly tilting towards it. May be I keep trying few more of this brand to get to the real conclusion. But so far the bottle is much better than the tin container.
