Bride Wedding attire - Lehnga Choli

In our culture, colour Red holds a special significance. Whenever there is any special ocassion Red withhold the all new important color. The color red is considered auspicious due to its association with several positive attributes like love, passion, energy, and power, as well as its connection to deities like Durga and Kali. The association with love and passion, making it a popular choice for wedding attire, where brides wear red saris or lehengas. Red is the color of the heart and is frequently used in romantic contexts, particularly during weddings, where brides wear red or shades of red to symbolize love, fertility, and prosperity.

In our recently concluding wedding, the bride attire was again Red in colour. Before the main ocassion, we took some important clicks of the dress.

The dress is Lehnga choli which is very popular choice for Indian weddings. Lehengas have a long history in Indian culture, with origins in the Mughal courts and evolving over time. They are seen as a symbol of Indian heritage and are often chosen by brides to honor their ancestry and customs on their wedding day. Lehengas offer a balance of comfort and elegance, making them a popular choice for events where one needs to move around and celebrate. The flaring skirt and fitted choli of a lehenga are considered flattering on most body types.

In good faith - Peace!!

It is beautiful and educational to have the opportunity to see bridal wear in cultures that are different from ours.
