A vibrant hue for a vibrant life !

Red plays a vital role in various cultural and religious practices, signifying different aspects based on context and tradition. In our culture, the color Red holds significant importance, symbolizing various aspects such as auspiciousness, passion, power, and fertility. It's often associated with deities like Durga and Kali, signifying their strength and divine feminine energy. Red is considered an auspicious color, often used in rituals and ceremonies to invoke blessings and positive energy. Here is a glimpse of color for a genuine #red vibes in our life.

1. The bridal wear :

Red is a symbol of love and passion, often seen in wedding attire and romantic contexts. Brides often wear Red or shades of Red, symbolizing love, fertility, and good luck.

This is how the wedding attire looks like. I have taken this picture recently during my niece wedding. Wrapped in Red dress she was stunning. With the change of time, many GenZ may choose for other color, but always remain the important for the auspicious occasion. Infact, Married women apply sindoor (vermilion) in their hair parting, signifying their marital status and the well-being of their husbands.

2. The dancing couple.

Couples often express love through dance by choosing romantic songs and movements that reflect their connection and joy. I hope the newly wed couple doing that gracefully. In the meantime i take notice of this beautiful lighting piece in my Hotel room.

I have taken this picture, during my last visit to Puri. The hotel was well decorated and this piece of lights at the bed side adding glamour to the room. I like the way couple gracefully holding each other and immersed in themselves.

3. The first dish

No matter what, the first dish of your kids were always special. Even though sometime they like the correct texture and taste, but being a parent we never downgrade them. But Not in my case, when I was served the hot "Halwa".

Served in a Red bowl on a Red plate, it was delicious cooked. It was the first. It was served with cute gesture and warning too. But who don't want to keep such occasion for a memoir. (honestly speaking it was delicious - no false praising).

4. The sitting Zone

A visit to a fair is always fun filled, but as the days pass on, it gets tiring. We always lookout for sitting areas, and at the end we did find one.

Simple yet appealing. I must say that. The picture was taken during my visit to a trade fair in New Delhi. There were manything in offering, but by the end of the day, I wanted this chair to relax. Placed outside a stall, it was meant for clients interaction. And we forged ourself to be a client had a little conversation with the stall owner.

5. The love for Flute

Flute is a musical instrument. Not everyone master in blowing it, but still it remains a favorite playing item for the kids. They always colored in Red.

I am not sure how many of these i have purchased in my childhood. Made up of bamboos, it remain a major buying this in kids fair. The seller tie them in a stick and sell them. Having placed them over the head, it always get noticed by kid. The Red is attractive after all. Taken this picture few years ago, during a Dusshera fair in my village.

This is me in Red sharing the vibrant Red for the Photo essay - Red contest by @stresskiller . Red is a highly saturated color that naturally attracts attention due to its long wavelength, making it more noticeable.

No matter what, Red is unavoidable to notice. This bunch of little Red flower is a soothing example.

You've made an impressive post about the colour red, impressive. Your niece's dress is unparalleled in its beauty. The sculpture of the dancing couple is amazing. I don't think I've ever had red plates, the one you show is very beautiful. I do have red clothes because I love them, they symbolise strength. I love that flute decoration for fairs or parties, and what can I say about the flowers, they fascinate me!

I also agree with the meaning of red. There is something called chromotherapy, using a colour according to what you need, and red is definitely a very powerful colour. Thank you very much!!!

I especially like the red color. I welcome you to this wonderful contest and wish you success. You have shared the wonderful association of the red color with the gods. Also, the wonderful red color of the fair looks really great. The school color is wonderful red which I really like, but the shirt you are wearing is also red which is really worth seeing. Thank you for participating in this wonderful scene and the red color contest.
