A short walk to Indian Railway Station - Changing India.

There have been a lot of assumption and talk about Indian rsilway, and railway station. Few people considered it to be over crowded, few look it as dirty. Differrnt mind differrnt perception. Todsy, I will take ypu all on a short walk to one of the railway station, situated in the heart of India. This is not ever buzzing New Dlehi station, but it is an additional station built within Delhi to reduce the rush at main station.

This is also my first time boarding a train from this station. As like any other station, there were lot chaos at the entrance gate, Mai ly due to security checks. But once you get inside the Staton, the looks is completelly differrnt.

Finding such artistic butterfly is common in malls or clubs, but the inside wall is nicely painted to give a vibrant looks. I think it is alwsys good to get the wall covered with such painting as it add some besuty to the place. Not only this, we have the adjoining wall too nicely been painted too with flowers and butterfly.

Not only with the painting, the station has upkept the green natural vibes by placing some good green plants all over the place. This are mainly the waiting area for the passenger, before getting into the platform.

The waiting area has a huge space, with glass tomb on top. It allows proper natural sunlight and enough vaccum to make it airy. This is important to avoid any suffocation due to over crowded.

Being the morning, I do not find much rush, but during the festival season, these place are surely over crowded. Their were few food kiosks at the floor and big displayed screen on top. The screen displays the train number thr departing platform. So that people can walk through to their respective platform to catch the trains.

Going to to the platform, passenger can use the underground tunnel passage, built for this purpose. I belive this is a good move by the railway. Rsther than opting for foot override, this tunnel passage is better and spacious too. There were two such passage in adjoining corner

The sidewalls of the tunnel too were properly been decorated with good paintings. There murals, goddess, and various memem to look out for. Certainly it gives a good vibes to people.

In between the passage area, you will find respective exist area to the r3spective platform. A platform is generally the place where the train halts. Differrnt train difderrnt timings. But to control the rush, number of platforms were built. This station has 7 platform.
There were two different kind of exists towards the platform. One can use as per their convenience. People can use Stairway or the rampwalk. One is on left side of the tunnel, while the other is on right.

Walking up using any means, will rake us to the platform area, which is a base along side thr railway talk. Trains arrives halts in their and passengers biard them.

In my case the tracks were emptied, as I reach the station before time. It is always good to be ahead of time. This is Anand Vihar Railway Station situated on the eastern Delhi. Many trains going towards eastern sides starts from here. My first experince at this rsilway station is good one and I shared the same.

May be there are different perceptions about Indian standsrd, but with changing time, many things have changed and so does our country outlook. Hope you enjoy this little walkthrough.
