I spent the weekend reading for a test I had this week, which I completed yesterday, and I used part of the night before the next day to study for the second test. I must say that these courses were very dense, and it was difficult for us to predict where these lecturers would set their questions.

Because the first course appeared to be more difficult than the second, I spent more time preparing for it. When I read, I like to understand it to some extent so that it will be very easy for me to memorise it, which is why I find it difficult to cram something that I do not understand. I'm prone to forgetting things.

My first test was at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning. I had to arrive at the location where the test was to be written very early. Oh mehn! I thought when I saw the test question. This was not what I expected, but luckily for me, there were still some questions for me to answer in them, and I don't like leaving questions unanswered. So I attempted the questions for which I had no answers in the hopes that the lecturer would give me credit for at least trying.

One surprising aspect of the test I took yesterday was that I answered the questions on two A4 sheets of paper. As a result, my friends were telling me that I knew all the answers to the questions, while I was attempting not to leave any questions unanswered.

I went out for a haircut right after the test was finished and I was about to leave for home. Yes, I had a haircut about a week ago, less than 9 days ago, and now I'm getting another. My hair grows quickly and I don't always cut it really short, so I have to go to the barbershop frequently to keep my face/hair looking sharp and not unkempt. I'd show you the photos later.

I got home and was concerned because I hadn't written an article in three days because I had been busy preparing for the test and also attending a Christmas event, KERESIMESI, about which I had written. Then I remembered that I had written about the event in my draft but had forgotten to publish it because I had been so preoccupied with studying for the exam. Before I could publish it, I had to re-edit it for errors such as grammar and fluency.

After that, I went to bed and woke up at midnight to prepare for the next test. I studied until 4 a.m. before going to bed, and I had to get up at 6:30 a.m. to prepare for my second test at 9 a.m. It was somewhere between difficult and easy. I had two questions for which I had no answer but had to make an attempt in the hopes of being rewarded for making an attempt.

I also used two A4 answer sheets for this second test too. πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

Now let's talk about my haircut.

I took the photo above very early in the morning, just before my first test. I didn't like how scruffy I looked, so I had to spend another $1 at the barber shop for the second time in a month. I looked better after the quick visit to the barbershop.

These photos were taken at the barbershop because they are so clean and neat. I don't mind spending up to $2 to $4 per month on my hair as long as I look neat and sharp. Here are some edited cool photos taken by @chosenfingers for me.

These photos did not look this good at first; I had to edit them to my liking. I took the photographs with an iPhone XR and edited them with Snapseed. I really like the last photo, where I showed my watch.

MY TWO LOSSES

I went to @creativepearl's house today and asked her to play chess with me, but she refused and said she wasn't in the mood. I knew she played chess because she had her own chessboard and told me she did it frequently. I wanted to play with her because I hadn't played chess in a long time. Let's say it's been more than two years. I just wanted to have some fun with her.

After a while, she asked me to play LUDO with her, which I declined because she refused to play chess with me. So we agreed that if I played LUDO with her, she would play chess with me.

Norms, I dislike playing LUDO because I believe it is a game of chance, but I decided to play it because she agreed to play chess with me. On LUDO, I was murdered right in front of my eyes. She won without showing any mercy to me.

I didn't feel bad because I knew it was due to LUCK... We then decided to play chess...

Even though I hadn't played CHESS in years, I remembered the moves of each piece and was able to play. I had a difficult game against @creativepearl, but she still won. We played chess for up to an hour (if not more).

Although I didn't win, I was still happy because I had fun. She was overjoyed that she had won. The game was meant to be fun, which I did and am certain she did as well.

One thing is for certain: I will continue to play more of these board games with CreativePearl. She may continue to win, but I will undoubtedly improve at them, making it harder for her to take pleasure in winning. I made certain to inform her of this!

No one will believe you didn't prepare well after using two A4 sheets for the test, guru don't brag so I understand why you still feel like you didn't do much.

The haircut is πŸ”₯ and you must be very hairy based on what I saw in the picture where you showed your wristwatch, good to see that you are rocking it already.

I know a few chess players and I didn't know she is good at it as well, I'm sure you had fun playing

Omor! I had to pour everything I knew in my head in the paper. I want to do better this semester.

Yeah I am very hairy. My hair grows very fast. In a week now, my face would be looking very rough as if I haven’t had a cut in months.

I need to get back playing chess. So I can be better at it. I enjoyed Playing it.

My younger brother is very hairy too and I can tell how challenging it can be. You have to visit the barber's shop often to keep things tight.

I wish you success bro...

It is usually those people that claim to know nothing that get to the exam hall to fire the questions. Just imagine, you took 2 A4 papers. That means you planned on tearing the test questions.

You might as well just be cutting your hair every week. It grows really fast. And you cannot be hiding this fine face that causes accident to be hidden under a bushel. I love the last photograph, by the way; the one with your fact wristwatch.

Ludo may look like a game of chance, but it isn't entirely so. For me, it's like reality (life). There are many things that happen that we had no idea would beforehand, but then we try to work around it and get the best results of things. The same applies to LUDO.

The die cannot be controlled, but what you do with whatever the die gives you is entirely up to you. And from my guess, you made terrible decisions and your babe took advantage and won squarely.

As for chess, I am looking forward to the day I'd play with GM Creative Pearl.

Hahaha, you used two A4 papers for something you weren't sure of? Wow, you are really brave πŸ˜‚.

You look good in that new haircut and the watch is nice too, let me say less, hehe.

I remember when my brother will always want me to play chess with him even when I don't know anything about it but then the more I played the more I had idea of how to play, so I'm sure you will just keep getting better the more you play especially with someone like Creativepearl that can play.

You were looking fine naw, I was just staring sha but I don't want to be a crusher so I had to control my eyes not to go back to see, hehehe... No caption

That's right, practice they say makes perfect, smiles.

Omo I can relate to that feeling of just trying to put down something to less the lecturer know you made an attempt, rather than leave the space blank and them thinking you know nothing about the subject matter, on the other hand it's always hard for friends to believe you're just making an attempt rather than know the actual answer when your pen continually dance during the test.

I wish you all the best in the outcome of both papers.

You look good with the new hair cut and it's indeed a pleasure to always look neat in all aspects at all times.

Smile, ludo is indeed a game of luck kind of, but then some level of expertise is required too.

I'm just trying to learn chess but it's good to know that despite the fact that you lose in it, you still have fun.

Have a pleasant day.

Yeah I have gotten to understand that some level of expertise is also required as well. Funny, I am getting to really like the game as well.

As for my test. They are gurus, and it's true that it would be hard for them to believe me when they see my hands dancing all through πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

Even me sef go think you prepared well for both tests as you used two A4 papers. Why na? It is people like you that says β€œI didn't read at all” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I hope you pass those tests though.

As for the game, at least you get to keep improving even if she keeps winning, making you get prepared when you have finally gotten the crooks and corners of the chess game and soon, you will win 😁😁

How dare you to challenge a lady! I mean, my fellow lady? Just try it again and see how she will win you more and more.

But, let me drop small secret with you as my friend.πŸ‘‡

Next time, give her small liquor before the game starts! 🀣🀣

Great haircut, Emmanuel. You look good :)

In life sometimes you have to win, sometimes you have to lose, well you had to lose in chess haha. I'm sure you'll do better next time. You have to practice your movements better :p

I've got great and reserved respect for guys that visit the barber weekly . You guys must have an antidote for the hairline not fading . My hairline fading off is my greatest fear! As regards your losses, don't be too hard on yourself ; probably it wasn't just your day. You might be victorious in the next battle who knows??!!
