first time I am seeing tomatoes planted like this. My mum used to plant one in our little garden and yeah she also puts a stick allowing it to grow around the stick but the nylon. It is the first time I am seeing this.

Thank you for your message and for finding my contribution so valuable. We often have harsh weather here in Germany and the tomatoes don't like that at all, so I built them the bonnets because they can stay outside that way. Perhaps your mum's tomato plant would also like a canopy like this, I would be delighted to receive your contribution. 😊
