MY TRAVEL TO LAGOS || MISSED HOME SO MUCH

I didn't intend to spend Christmas with my family at first, but I changed my mind and moved to Lagos today. I got up early in the morning to pack my belongings for the trip home, with the primary purpose of travelling as light as possible. I don't enjoy going out with a heavy load because I don't have a car yet and I tend to misplace stuff when I have a lot on me.
Here are the loads I packed for travelling:

We are currently in Nigeria's Harmattan season, which is why the weather was so chilly. With my sword, armour, and shield in hand, I entered the bathroom to ensure that I could have a proper bath. I prevailed in a very difficult battle and emerged from it without feeling overly shivering.
I still have a battle with the weather, so I had to be extremely picky about what I wore. I decided to wear a turtleneck with black pants. Unfortunately, I don't have complete images, but these are the ones I do have.

I initially took these 4 images without classes to see how I would look then decided to put on the glasses...

While returning home, commercial vehicles decided to raise the cost of transportation. I expected this, but it was quite unpleasant to realise that I was spending more than I typically would.
Before I could go home, the entire trip took five hours. I left my house at 9:00 am and arrived around 2:30 pm. I enjoyed being at home since the internet is excellent and the electricity feels more reliable now than it did while I was in school and receiving free meals is another thing I appreciate about being home.
I would not have to be spending so much money per week on feeding. I am not a fan of cooking so I buy food every day of the week so I spend a lot of money on feeding. It is not that I don't know how to cook I am just lazy and have little interest in anything relating to the kitchen.
Immediately I got home, I took out my laptop and decided to write up a post on the Newbies Initiative account. Sending Christmas present to graduates that finished the program. I sent quite a lot of Hive...
The post should have been published before this article but there is quite some delay with the thumbnail for the post. I told a friend to help make a thumbnail for the post but he took longer time than I expected.
After a while, I attempted to study a course, but the more I studied, the more lost I felt. I was demotivated, which could have been due to my worry about not understanding the course. I despise this sensation because it makes my bones quiver. It makes me feel less confident, and I'm now feeling lost in myself.
Then I realised that the sensation is actually hunger rather than fear. I should have eaten, therefore that is a good explanation for why I wasn't grasping what I was studying. So I gave up studying and went right to the kitchen. I made the decision to put the book away and pick it back up tomorrow because I thought my brain needed a break.
Since I am home, I don't have to be starving myself. There is a lot of free food to consume, electricity to enjoy and good internet most of all.

Loool I like what you did with the editing, you decreased the highlight and decreased the contrast hahaha. It gives a glowy effect on pictures. Traveling in this period no be beans, but it's ABK to Lagos, so it wouldn't break a sweat. Food in this period is quintessential, anything done without eating no dey work.
Snapchat filter oh! I no edit anything π ππ π. Yeah true! Anything without food no dey work. God is important
Merry Christmas brother
See how you are mentioning "free food" like the food is actually free. π
Anyway, it's a good thing you chose to be at home. You are enjoying the privilege of spending way less. But my question is, if you are as fresh as this on getting home, will we still be able to look at you when you get back? My guess is that we'll need welding glasses.
Sorry your friend took too long with the thumbnail. Some people can be unreliable.
