"FOOD" THE ONE AND ONLY END GAME 😅

Yesterday appeared to be a special day at school, with most departments holding their symposium. When we hear the word symposium, we immediately think of food. On the contrary, it is an opportunity to inform department students about their courses, jobs after school, and more about life after school.

The truth is that 90% of the students were there for the food that would be shared with us at the end of the programme, not for the information they had to share. And I was no different... As you are aware, I am a foodie.😋

Because my previous class had been cancelled, I arrived at the symposium early. After a few hours, we were summoned to another class. This is where my photographic journey began, and I am delighted to share them with you!

I remembered to take these photos as I was leaving the symposium to return to class. I was with @chosenfingers and two other friends from the same department. The funniest thing about this class is that I had no idea it was actually being held while I was deceiving some of my friends in our WhatsApp group chat that it was. Surprisingly, I received a message indicating that it was indeed holding. I had to rush to class because the lecturer had promised not to spend more than half an hour with us.

After the class, I saw it as an opportunity to take some more photos. That's how I was able to get these shots after leaving the class and returning to the symposium. There's even more to see.

That's how this idea came to me as I was attempting to take some photos. By the way, notice how my shoe's bottom is as white as snow! The image is sick! Quite a few comments have been left on this specific image since I posted it to my WhatsApp status.

This specific idea came from my friend Abeeb. He is the person who was photographing me as we were returning to the symposium. Until I watched the video, I had no idea what he was doing (I converted the video to gif). I thought the video made sense in the end, and I felt great about my posture.

The way I'm standing gives the impression that I'm about to fight someone... Meanwhile, I can't even throw a simple punch. 😅

These are the images I captured of Abeeb. My iPhone XR's camera was used to take these pictures. They're really cool, too!

Before I go any further, I'd like to introduce you to Shakira. She is a talented singer as well as a Mechatronics Department student. My department has only two females, and she is the second female after the Assistant HOC (Head Of Class). She is a close friend of mine and wanted to be in a photo with me. 😁.

We three decided to take a picture together right outside the symposium's venue. We thought it was amusing that only chosenfingers wasn't wearing a sneaker, so we threw him in the middle. We are all in the same Mechatronics Engineering department and at the same level. We are nearly the same height, but we are not tall.

We returned to the symposium, patiently waiting. You already know what we were looking forward to. When we returned, the number of students in the hall had more than tripled. More people had joined the gathering since we had left, making it difficult to find a seat, but we did.

Chosenfingers was already yelling that they should hurry to the end so he could get his food and leave. You see, I am not Hive's only foodie. In disguise, there are more of us here. I'd find them and fish them out one by one. @olujay would not be spared.

After many hours of waiting, they began bringing in the food packages in nylons. The orange nylon is being held by a man in the image above. That was the food package we'd all been looking forward to. You should see the joy on @chosenfingers' face. Yes, I took the photograph, which is shown below. 😅

You can clearly see the smile on his face, I'm certain of that. It was priceless, so I had to take it. The way he was happy almost gave the impression that he had received a million dollars.

This brother of mine couldn't wait to get home before opening his package. As for me, this is my food package in a different nylon colour.

My mind was saying, "Mission Accomplished," as I held this nylon in my hands. I didn't remember to take a picture of the meal when I got home. I ate it right away because I was so hungry. I did not, however, eat alone; rather, I shared it with love 💖.

So you're among those that prank people about classes😂 You should be flogged. You're lucky the class actually held.

I won't lie, you're not alone in this foodie mission. I have refused to attend two dinner and award night gathering in my school this week just because they don't share food and I won't be receiving an award either. (Not that I'm not good at something, I'm good at eating but they don't appreciate that😓)

Yeh all those award parties, you would pay some money for it and still have to buy food and drinks. I don't attend those parties either because I feel it is a waste of time.
