What Is Real Love 💕 Appearance Or Internal Beauty? 💕 A Short Story

Today I made a conversation with a few people. We talked about this and about that. Then a woman talked about a woman in the village criticized her for her appearance, while she telling and another woman said, she was also criticized for her appearance. I think that no matter what their appearance or color, they should not criticize or demean each other.

Talking about their appearance and complexion, no matter what the purpose, can make a person feel uncomfortable and unhappy. That’s reminds me of the many things that used to be said about me that, why leave your skin black like this. The most people in my country love white skin more than brown skin like me. Most people I know like to spend money buying whitening creams for their skin.

I sometimes hear most people who know me said to me, why you not make your skin whiter and smoother? Sometimes I reply a long reason and sometimes I feel bored I just reply the short answer.

Last year I went to the wedding of my maternal cousin. I missed them for almost 10 years, and the first words my cousin said to me after saying hello that, I were years apart we can’t see you but why you was still black?

In my language, the people calling the people have the skin like mine are black. I told him, I am brown, it’s not black. We make so much conversation about my skin, until I feel bored to talk to him. But I do not want to be rude to him because he is older than I am.

I am a person who respects all people, I never say any inappropriate words or criticize their appearance or color. But I like to praise them when they are clean or good.

Some of my relatives and friends used to tell me when I was single that, I should go to buy a lotion to whiten my skin so that people would fall in love with me. I answered briefly that I did not care. Modern people prefer to look at and value the appearance and splendor of the outside rather than value the good inwardly.

Some people do not care what kind of person that person is, as long as they are white and beautiful, they will fall in love. I think it is love, innocence, and mutual respect that bring happiness to a family. Like my husband, he never cared about my appearance. He always said that I was beautiful both inside and out. He used to say loving words to me every day. He always takes care of us and spends his time with us. That is a real love and happiness.

I know I'm not as beautiful as others, but I'm as beautiful as I am and I'm satisfied. So I do not want to put anything on my skin to whiten it.
