Celebrating With Villagers & The Weather Is Hot Now
Hello everyone, how is the weather in your countries? There were 38 to 41 heat waves in some provinces and cities. But in the area where I live, the temperature is only 22 to 30 degrees. Although we are a bit hot, if we compare with the previous months, but in our area probably the best weather in Cambodia now.
Now I would like to share what I did from yesterday with you all. Yesterday I went to Phnom 1500 with my neighbor and with the other villagers for take the food for the monks. On the mountain 1500 there is a hut which is the hermitage of Yeay Mao. Yeay Mao is a powerful figure of the Khmer faith. There are 3 monks in the forest and 7 monks from Wat Thmor Da.
On that day, gifts were also distributed to the poor people in some areas of Veal Veng district.
This is a statue of Yeay Mao. At Yeay Mao's hermitage, it is far from all people's houses. But it is only about four kilometers from my house.
After the distribution of gifts, prepare the feet for the monks. That day I saw about 4 or 5 Chinese people also came to pay their respects for the monks.
At Yeay Mao Ashram, there is always a counting ceremony to give food to monks every four months before the traditional Khmer New Year.
For Khmer New Year this year, we had plans to visit Siem Reap, but my husband did not go with us. Because he remembers meeting his friend from America. For me, I do not want to visit Siem Reap because there are guests. But my two daughters, they really want to go.

Here at my place is kinda okay other places are 38 Celsius and some are 41 Celsius. Some of the monks are really young and some are younger than my daughter. Have a wonderful day.
