Nuit De Rêve || Night Of Dreams

The long awaited night was finally upon us and guess what?

We dreamt dreams, hehehe.

Over here in my school, it is always a culture that each administration rounds up with a dinner night.

The current administration exceeded one year because of strike and that also affected their time of the dinner night but finally it is here.

The dinner night featured many activities which includes:

• Red carpet

• Musical performances

• Pagentary

• Dinner proper

• Award giving

• Dance dance dance

Red Carpet

Just like the flier stated, the Red Carpet started by 8pm.

Here, the early birds were asked questions like...

Are you excited coming here?

What made you chose the dress you're on?

What are you expecting In today's dinner?

The student couples had upper hands here in drawing attention to themselves but it was all good,the single ones like me won't die because they didn't ask us😂

Musical Performances

Still on the welcoming,life was brought in to the venue by the various musical performances.

Here is where we get to see many upcoming artists as they struggle to perform and send their names outside the world.

We had Couple of them and they also did wonderful.

The dancing group was also there to entertain us to the best of their abilities.

Pagentary

The Pagentary featured ladies and gentlemen competiting for who will become the next , Mr. UNMSA, Miss UNMSA and The Face of UNMSA Magazine as the first runner up.

They really didn't disappoint as we enjoyed ourselves throughout their struggle....Was quite a competition.

They were assessed based on their walking steps, their dancing skills, their costumes (including their cultural attires) and were asked few questions also.

The candidate who had the highest score based on the judgement of the judges becomes the Mr. UNMSA while the lady becomes the Miss UNMSA.

The first runner up whether male or female becomes the Face of UNMSA Magazine.

Dinner Proper

Finally it was time for the dinner proper, hehehe.

We were served jollof rice, fried rice, moi moi with the chicken that decorated it.

You don't need to ask if it was delicious because it was a dream come true, it's a night of dream anyway 😂

Award Giving

Now, it was time to appreciate everyone that has served under the administration and brought good name to the Association in one way or the other..... It's always a thrilling experience to get one.

I was not left out as I represented the Faculty at the Students Union Government level and I was called up to receive the award.

What made the award sweet actually was that I was not expecting it because we were 9persons that served my Faculty in the same capacity like I did in the SUG so there was no guarantee I was the one getting picked..

It was the peak of the night for me, seems like a dream come true😂

I play football also and my class won the UNMSA cup tournament.

We were called up to the stage to come receive our medals.

Dance dance dance

This is for everyone that came for the dinner but somehow it's always been hijacked by the final year class since it's their last dinner experience as undergraduate students, hopefully.

They soon took over the floor and danced till their legs worn out..

Meanwhile, I was around the venue watching them and enjoying the view, I'll certainly miss most of them but, "we will always get to see, it's a small world anyway", I said to myself.

We finished around 5am and I started the day with sleep, it's understandable I guess 😂
