An Anti-Filter Application Might Be A Solution

With the inception of various Technological applications, it is now possible that someone who is not so beautiful will be dazzling in pictures..... I know you know that, hehehe.

These beautifying applications generally can be said to make way into the phones of our ladies faster than that of guys, I can literally count how many guys that have these applications on their devices but for our ladies, it seems like an abnormality if you don't have it, hehehe.

I've never used the applications for once. When taking pictures, I just look for very good phones with nice cameras but not beautifying applications.
What if someone sees the picture and wants us to meet only to get disappointed by my real self? How do I get to explain that?
I'm not in for the stress please, hehehe

Hehe, I know most guys must have fallen victim of this particular picture deception in various forms, here is mine...

It was shortly after my secondary school education and a group was created on Facebook for Students who wanted to further their education to University level.

I joined the group and once in a while, the owner of the group who was an undergraduate then will hold test sessions and we will all answer after which he will release the result to the group so that few persons that didn't do well enough will buckle up.
I was always above average in the test then.

One faithful day, I entered online and saw a direct message from someone I didn't know, she introduced herself before suggesting we study together.

I've never met her before, but then, it was all about study so it's a welcomed idea since we all shared same goal.

It didn't take long for me to notice how beautiful she was from her profile picture... I quickly went to her page and checked out her recent pictures.

One thing was off... She had fewer pictures unlike many persons do and they were all dazzling, very very beautiful pictures, an epitome of beauty

She defied the popular saying,

"Beauty lies in the hands of the beholder" because any man that saw that picture will immediately affirm that she was beautiful.

As we were preparing for the exam, I was also patiently waiting for the day I'll meet such a damsel in reality.

Fast forward to the day we eventually met after writing our exam, I called her when our batch was over and if not that we were on phone before we eventually met because of the multitude that came for the exam, I would have walked past her without identifying her.

She was very different from what she portrayed herself to be on her Facebook profile.
I was very happy I saw her after the exam because it would have disorganized me from thinking properly, how could someone look so different 😂

However, I am not against anyone using these filter beautifying features at all.

If you feel you're comfortable with it, you can use it, it's a free world anyway.
