Returning to the ring / wedding photography

Un saludo a todos los miembros de la comunidad #photographylovers . Les cuento que, desde hace bastante tiempo, quería volver a publicar en este hermoso blog, pero no había encontrado el tiempo.

Este post habla un poco de mi experiencia fotografiando una boda, en especial la de un amigo y su novia. La verdad es que fue todo un reto, y ya les explicaré por qué.

Greetings to all members of the "Photography Lovers" community. I wanted to tell you that I have been wanting to publish again on this beautiful blog for a long time, but I hadn't found the time.

This post talks a little bit about my experience photographing a wedding, specifically the wedding of a friend and his girlfriend. It was quite a challenge, and I will explain why later.

En esta boda fui el fotógrafo personal del novio, ya que la novia tenía su propio fotógrafo personal, un reconocido profesional de mi ciudad. Para mí fue un gran honor compartir trabajo con él, Samuel Trevisi.

Nos dirigimos a la casa del novio, donde lo estaban arreglando para el esperado momento. Me sorprendió gratamente ver que vestía un traje típico de las regiones llaneras de Venezuela, un liqui liqui, complementado con un hermoso sombrero que combinaba a la perfección con todo su atuendo.

For this wedding, I was the groom's personal photographer, as the bride had her own personal photographer, a renowned professional in my city. It was a great honor for me to share the work with him, Samuel Trevisi.

We went to the groom's house, where he was getting ready for the long-awaited moment. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was wearing a traditional traje llanero from Venezuela, a liqui liqui, complemented by a beautiful hat that perfectly matched his entire outfit.

Su padre y madre lo acompañaron durante todo este momento y recuerdo que al final de esta mini sesión en su casa nos tomamos un par de whiskys y arrancamos camino a la iglesia. Al llegar, notamos que ya habían bastantes personas: las damas del cortejo, familiares y sus mejores amigos.

Pero algo súper normal, y creo que esto pasa a nivel mundial, es que la novia se demoró un poco más de la cuenta. Pasado el tiempo, empezamos a entrar a la iglesia. Esta es una de las iglesias más hermosas de la ciudad.

His parents accompanied him throughout this moment and I remember that at the end of this mini session at his house we had a couple of whiskeys and started our way to the church. Upon arrival, we noticed that there were already quite a few people: the bridesmaids, family and his best friends.

However, something that is super normal, and I think this happens worldwide, is that the bride was a little late. After a while, we started to enter the church. This is one of the most beautiful churches in the city.

Todo estaba listo para entrar y esperar a la novia. En plena ceremonia, un corte de luz oscureció todo a su alrededor. Fue uno de los momentos más hermosos, ya que todos y cada uno de los invitados sacaron su teléfono y empezaron a iluminar con el flash de su cámara.

Pasados aproximadamente 10 minutos, se cerraron las puertas de la iglesia. Todos, con nervios, miraban hacia la puerta de la entrada. Las puertas se abrieron y se reveló la hermosa novia, que estaba lista para contraer matrimonio con el afortunado novio.

Everything was ready to enter and wait for the bride. In the middle of the ceremony, a power outage darkened everything around them. It was one of the most beautiful moments, as each and every guest took out their phone and started lighting up with the flash of their camera.

After approximately 10 minutes, the doors of the church closed. Everyone, nervously, looked towards the entrance door. The doors opened and the beautiful bride was revealed, ready to marry the lucky groom.

En las imágenes pueden ver cómo se celebró la ceremonia poco a poco. También pueden ver algunas fotos que pudimos capturar, a pesar de la poca luz, pero con una energía especial.

In the images, you can see how the ceremony was celebrated little by little. You can also see some photos that we were able to capture, despite the low light, but with a special energy.

Ellos son Dani y Franggiee,son mis amigos Y para mí fue un placer poder capturar los momentos más importantes del día más importante en sus vidas.

Dani and Franggiee, they are my friends, and it was a pleasure for me to capture the most important moments of the most important day in their lives.
