First Heartbeats, First Images : The Story of a Birth in Photographs (ENG/ESP)

Dear community of #photographylovers , I hope you are having a wonderful week, my interest in the art of documenting cesareans has been growing steadily, and it is still amazing to me that after 17 cesareans, a new life comes into this world.

Estimada comunidad de amantes de la fotografía : Espero que estén teniendo una semana maravillosa.Mi interés por el arte de documentar cesareas ha ido creciendo progresivamente, y aún me resulta asombroso que, tras 17 cesareas, una nueva vida llegue a este mundo.

Each new birth brings with it a magical atmosphere to the operating room environment, particularly in the moments leading up to the arrival of the little angel.On this occasion, my intention is not to be overly technical, but rather to invite you all to enjoy this process again, as I experience a greater appreciation for it every day.

Cada nuevo nacimiento trae consigo una atmósfera mágica al entorno del quirófano, particularmente en los momentos previos a la llegada del angelito.En esta ocasión, mi intención no es ser excesivamente técnico, sino más bien invitarles a todos ustedes a disfrutar nuevamente de este proceso, pues cada día experimento un mayor aprecio por él.

After many years of experience, I never imagined that all my work and knowledge would be synthesized in just 15 seconds. It is only natural that questions arise. The answer to this question lies in the very nature of the process. Once the final cut is made in the uterus to welcome the baby, there is a unique moment that can last anywhere from 15 to 25 seconds. At that instant, there is a limited amount of time to best document, both in photography and video, the arrival of the new life that will enter our world.

Tras muchos años de experiencia, jamás imaginé que todo mi trabajo y conocimiento se sintetizarían en tan solo 15 segundos. Es natural que surjan preguntas al respecto. La respuesta a esta pregunta radica en la naturaleza misma del proceso. Una vez que se realiza el último corte en el útero para dar la bienvenida al bebé, se presenta un momento único que puede durar entre 15 y 25 segundos. En ese instante, se cuenta con un tiempo limitado para documentar de la mejor manera posible, tanto en fotografía como en vídeo, la llegada de la nueva vida que se incorporará a nuestro mundo.

It may not always go as expected, and on occasion I have experienced difficulty capturing the desired moment, which has led me to resort to using my camera phone. When using the phone's camera, there is sometimes a slight delay in processing the images to save them, due to the limited memory capacity of the device. However, I can assure you that the coverage of the phone camera is sufficient to ensure that valuable moments are captured.

Es posible que no siempre salga como se espera, y en ocasiones he experimentado dificultades para capturar el momento deseado, lo que me ha llevado a recurrir al uso de la cámara del teléfono. Al utilizar la cámara del teléfono, a veces se experimenta un ligero retraso en el procesamiento de las imágenes para guardarlas, debido a la limitada capacidad de memoria del dispositivo.
