Well friends, I wanted to share that we are still going through a dry spell—it's been months without rain, and my small garden of succulents and cacti is starting to feel the effects. Since I know the weather behaves this way every year and my space is limited, I chose this type of plant because of its resilience and low water needs. But lately the climate has been acting extremely. This morning, when I woke up, I found several succulent leaves had turned yellow, and I instantly knew it was time for an emergency watering.

Como sé que el clima se comporta así cada año y mi espacio es reducido, decidí decantarme por este tipo de plantas por su resistencia y su poca necesidad de agua, pero el clima se está comportando de manera muy extrema. I took several photos—from the wild yellow flowers that I always have to remove because they cover soil meant for other plants, to the soaked, green, and wilted leaves.
