I'm very happy with the results of the previous community round, so I couldn't miss the chance to participate in this one. This will be my entry for: Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest–Round 383.

The photograph I'm sharing today is of an origami star—a gift I received and, like all gifts, I keep it with special care. To capture the star and the way its tips projected onto the table, I used direct light from my phone. I really liked how the shadows turned out—sharp and solid. As always, I used Snapseed to correct the colors and convert it to black and white. I believe this photo works especially well in monochrome; it conveys a sort of uninvited intensity.

La fotografía que les comparto en el día de hoy es una foto de una estrella de origami—fue un regalo que me hicieron, así que como a todos los regalos, lo guardo con especial cariño. Para capturar la foto de la estrella con la proyección de las puntas sobre la mesa utilicé luz directa con mi teléfono. Me gustó mucho cómo las sombras quedaron rígidas y bien sólidas. Además, como siempre, usé Snapseed para la corrección de los colores y llevarla a blanco y negro. En especial, creo que esta foto funciona muy bien en blanco y negro; transmite cierta agresividad sin permiso.
